Libra is a cardinal air sign ruled by the planet of Venus. 

Those born under the zodiac sign of Libra have a taste for the finer things in life. They are ruled by Venus and therefore love all things beautiful. This includes aesthetics, love, and romance, but also extends to keeping the peace and seeing only the beautiful sides of life.

Librans are natural born diplomats. Their innate sense of empathy. justice, and listening skills means they would make great mediators, judges, and counselors.

They are lovers of love, balance, and typically have a taste for all things aesthetic related including style, beauty, the arts, and pleasure. All those under the sign of Libra are creative, idealistic, and lovers of love and partnerships. In fact, Librans thrive among their friends and family more than other signs. Some less-than-appealing traits of a Libran include indecisive, flighty, superficial, and manipulative. A goal for all Librans should be to find their own true center so they will feel less inclined to bend over backwards for others just to keep the peace or be well-liked.
