Gemini is a mutable air sign ruled by the planet of Mercury.

Mercury rules communication so those born under this zodiac sign are usually great communicators and do well in careers that emphasize spoken word whether in writing, public speaking, acting, singing, or politics.

The symbol of Gemini is “the twins” and they’re often stereotyped as being “two-faced,” but that’s just the dark side of Gemini.

As you know, all the signs have dark aspects to them and the dark aspects of Gemini are duplicity, gossip and deception. The light aspect of Gemini, however, is being multi-facted. Often, Geminis are very talented individuals with many hobbies and passions. They are sociable, fun-loving, friendly, versatile, and inquisitive.

Those under the sign of Gemini have a keen intellect as they love to learn, grow, and take in all that life has to offer! 

They need excitement, variety, passion, and conversation to truly thrive. Geminis are extremely charming and typically are the life of the party because they are natural conversationalists. At times, they can be restless, fickle and depressed so constant movement and learning is important to keep inspiration and drive up.
