New MAHALO Rare Indigo Beauty Balm Review
About a month or so ago, I was fortunate enough to get a small trial size of this very special balm from MAHALO Skincare and let me tell you: this balm is ONE OF A KIND!
I had a feeling I would love this balm because I’m already a HUGE fan of MAHALO balms having won some products in a giveaway this past summer. These products are the epitome of green luxury, in my opinion, and they absolutely live up to those expectations. Maryna, one of the founders and main product creator, has a gift for creating products that are made with the utmost care, quality, and effectiveness. Moreover, her genuine heart, pure intention, and sincere love for what she does is so apparent that I’m convinced all of these emotions are infused in every product she creates. That might sound a little cheesy, but if you’ve tried MAHALO products, then you probably have an idea of what I mean and maybe you’ve experienced it yourself.
So, it’s really not surprising that I’m loving her latest creation of beauty love: Rare Indigo Beauty Balm ♥
The first thing you’ll notice about this balm is that it smells INCREDIBLE. Imagine a scent that smells like a cross between your favorite luxury fragrance (sans the nasties) and a calming aromatherapy oil; that’s the best I can describe what inhaling the scent of the Rare Indigo Beauty Balm is like. It’s floral, sweet, and wonderful.
I am obsessed with this balm now that the weather has turned cold here in California. It’s incredibly hydrating, calming to redness that I tend to get when the air is cold, and it’s both light and extremely nourishing all at once which I find is a seriously difficult balance to strike when it comes to face balms. This particular balm can be used year-round on ALL skin types, but will be especially beneficial for anyone with a special skin condition like eczema or dermatitis, anyone dealing with fine lines and aging skin, dry and sensitive skin types, and anyone who frequently has issues with redness, minor acne breakouts, and an imbalanced complexion. I definitely think this will become a staple in my regular beauty routine as I’ve found it to be amazing for calming and hydrating my skin.
Things to Love About the Rare Indigo Beauty Balm:
- Gentle enough for ALL Skin Types including sensitive skin or skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, etc.
- Seriously hydrating, but also incredibly light on the skin – absorbs into skin well without feeling heavy!
- Calming to skin redness and irritations
- Smells amazing and can double as perfume, in my opinion 😀
- Healing properties are wonderful for diminishing the appearance of fine lines and other signs of aging
- Green formula includes potent plant oils, balms, and other ingredients to heal, hydrate and soothe your skin ♥
