Vitruvi Natural Aromatherapy

It’s quite common to find aromatherapy oils which are formulated to help you sleep or relax, but how about ridding your body of toxins or helping you feel closeness and intimacy with your partner? How about a natural face mist crafted to help you stay focused at work? These are just a few of the things that make Vitruvi Natural Aromatherapy blends one of a kind.

The Vitruvi Story

Founded by esteemed siblings, Sean and Sara Panton, Vitruvi was born out of a love for beauty, design, culture, and humanitarian efforts. Armed with these passions, Sara left medical school to join her brother Sean and his entrepreneurial spirit on a brand journey that would lead them to create products both functional, beautiful, and insightful. With the highest grade plant ingredients sourced from over 17 countries, all blends are made in small batches in Vancouver and packaged in environmentally friendly bottles. Passionate about providing healthcare in developing countries, Sean and Sara create products that are 100% cruelty-free and quality-tested by their own beloved mother before releasing them to the public. Vitruvi also helps support Free The Children, a charity organization which helps women’s cooperatives, healthcare centers, and child education.

My Thoughts on Vitruvi

Vitruvi is one of those brands that I would’ve looked at and normally passed over without a second thought. Typically, I’ve found that while most aromatherapy blends smell nice or calming, they don’t do much of anything for me. After trying these samples out, I’d say these are my new go-to for aromatherapy blends and they actually work! There’s just something about them that sets them apart. Their blends feel and smell luxurious, almost like exotic natural fragrances, but they also have a function to them.

Detox Aromatherapy Oil ♥

The Detox Aromatherapy Oil is amazing for relaxing and winding down before bed after a rough day. I really enjoy using it directly after a hard workout, right before hopping in the shower, when I can just sit for a moment and breathe deeply. It’s also brilliant at soothing anxiety, if that’s something you deal with, which is a pretty frequent issue for me. On top of that, I love that the ingredients can aid in improving circulation, flushing away toxins, and supporting the proper function of your kidneys and skin. That’s not something I’d ever expect out of an aromatherapy blend, especially one that’s formulated with simple plant ingredients like rosemary, bergamot, lemon and juniper.

Ingredients: Prunus Amygdales (Sweet Almond Oil), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot Kernel Oil), Ricinus Communis (Castor Oil), Rosmarinus Officinalis (Rosemary), Citrus Bergamia (Bergamot), Citrus Limon (Lemon), Juniperus Communis (Juniper Berry) *Ingredients sourced globally & blended by hand in Vancouver, Canada.

Do Aromatherapy Oil ♥

The other blend I was able to sample is the Do Aromatherapy Oil which is meant to be a comforting natural aphrodisiac. The blend is inspired by oils that have traditionally been used in Indian tantra, but the unisex scent is much more than that. I suppose you could use it as a romantic oil before getting intimate with a partner, but I just found it to be very calming and centering. It’s a nice oil that’s different in the sense that you just feel a little more like yourself. That sounds strange, but it’s the best way I can describe this one. The earthiness of the sandalwood, rose, cinnamon and vanilla just feels very comforting. It reminds me of a spicy version of holiday season scents and that definitely feels a lot like home to me. I absolutely love these and I’ll be looking into trying the face mists to see if I can get more focused at work!

Ingredients: Prunus Amygdales (Sweet Almond Oil), Prunus Armeniaca (Apricot Kernel Oil), Ricinus Communis (Castor Oil), Cinnamon Zeylenicum (Cinnamon), Elettaria Cardamonum (Cardamom), Vanilla Plantifolia (Vanilla), Vetiveria Zizanioides (Vetiver), Rosa Centifolia (Rose), Santalum Spicatum (Sandalwood) *Ingredients sourced globally & blended by hand in Vancouver, Canada.

Things to Love About Vitruvi ♥

  • Vitruvi is 100% against animal testing – All blends are quality tested by their beloved mother before being released.
  • Cruelty-free, plant-based aromatherapy blends offer a more natural option that works more intuitively and in synergy with your own body.
  • High grade essential oils are sourced from over 17 countries which offers up an opportunity to have a small piece of the world at your fingertips.
  • Hand-blended in small batches, Vitruvi aromatherapy oils and mists are completely eco-friendly and environmentally responsible from ingredients to manufacturing process and packaging.
  • Vitruvi helps support Free the Children, a charity dedicated to helping women’s cooperatives, children’s education and health care centers around the world.

I really can’t recommend these aromatherapy oils enough. As someone who previously didn’t put much stock in aromatherapy or the power of essential oil blends, I think this particular brand legitimately makes a difference for me in terms of mood, stress levels, anxiety levels, and a general feeling of peace and contentment. Seeing as I’m not someone to whom these things come easy, I can see myself using these specially blended oils for years to come as they’ve had a wonderfully positive effect on me.

I love reading about natural aromatherapy with oils and balms etc. I love using essential oils/scents that are within bath and body products too, especially lavender scented products last thing at night, as often I can have trouble sleeping. I like using the Origins Peace Of Mind too, it’s lovely to just calm you down and make you feel a bit more relaxed :).

I’ve been using essential oils for about 5-6 mths and have my select favorites. I would love to give these blends a try, especially the detox blend. I love their bottles and the roller ball tops. So convenient and easy to apply.
