Scorpio is a fixed water sign that is ruled by the planet of Pluto.

Because Pluto rules death, transformation, and regeneration, Scorpios are often fascinated with the darker side of things. They can come back from anything in life, recreate and reinvent themselves, and pursue life with a fearless passion that seems unmatched by any other sign (except maybe Capricorn, though they come at it from a more traditional angle!).

Scorpios are one of the most loyal and faithful signs in the zodiac, but if unhealthy, they can be controlling, suspicious, possessive and vengeful if crossed. 

They are extremely emotional and passionate and they don’t half ass anything. Scorpios are focused, determined, and ambitious when it comes to their personal goals. Fiercely independent, Scorpios are fearless and willing to do whatever it takes to get what (or who) they want.
