Woods and Hearth Gift Guide

I shared this woods and hearth gift guide over on instagram, but I thought I would share a bit more in-depth about the products I shared here because instagram is so limited and I love these products so much! Although the products from Rainwater Botanicals were provided for this image, I’ve purchased this brand for literally years. In fact, RB was one of the very first green beauty brands I ever discovered on etsy, years before I started blogging. All the other products were purchased by me – SO THERE 😛 That’s my disclaimer – now onto the good stuff ♥

Pumpkin Enzymes Facial Masque

This natural pumpkin face mask has the subtle scent of natural pumpkin and spice and includes tons of skin benefiting ingredients such as brightening bilberry extract, orange, lemon, cinnamon, ginger, neem oil, and meadowfoam oil which all work to help brighten, hydrate, and improve the glow and clarity of your skin. It’s wonderful to gently exfoliate and brighten dull skin during the winter months.

Nourishing Facial Serum

This nourishing face serum is wonderfully hydrating. All you need is 1 pump to cover your entire face and neck area. It smells lovely and includes calming organic aloe, green tea, jojoba oil, black willowbark, carrot seed oil, and hyaluronic acid which all help to calm, soothe, improve hydration levels, brighten and clear skin, and soften and smooth any dry patches. It’s so easy to use and it definitely helps hydrate skin, even in the cold months. It’s one of the few serums that actually feels like it’s seriously hydrating my skin.

Ginger Pumpkin Bath Soap

This soap makes my entire bathroom smell like Christmas! It smells amazing and really that’s all you need to know, BUT I will say that it’s also very gentle, not drying to skin at all ( I have eczema for reference ), and doesn’t break me out either. Yay! On top of that, the soap includes nourishing pumpkin seed, coconut and sea buckthorn oils alongside ginger and pumpkin.

White Tea & Ginger Hand and Body Cream

This body cream is incredibly hydrating to skin, but also not heavy. It won’t clog pores or cause body acne (thank God!). It also smells like the holidays, though slightly different than the soap. Both go well together in any case. This cream is amazing for hydrating dry skin and hands and includes ingredients such as organic aloe, white tea, ginger, coconut oil, sweet orange, jasmine, ginger and neroli as well as some hyaluronic acid. It’s amazing.

Morphologically Palo Santo

I use this palo santo whenever I fell overwhelmed. The holiday season overwhelms me,on general terms, but I also used some when I first moved into my apartment and it didn’t quite feel like home yet. The founder and formulator, Melissa, is an incredibly intuitive aromatherapist who seriously knows her stuff. This palo santo will clear your mind, calm your spirit, and get rid of any weird odors that seem foreign if you’re in a new place. On top of that, her shower drops and room/linen sprays are also incredible. Just buy the entire line; I love her stuff and you will too!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo

I am obsessed with this book series! I love these books and everyone should read them, especially women. Lisbeth is, in my opinion, one of the most intriguing and heroic female characters in literature. These stories are amazing. And if you’ve read this series already, then definitely read The Girl Caught in the Spider’s Web (continuation of the series by another author) which is also pretty awesome!

Julep Nail Polish in Nic

This is the most oxblood burgundy nail color and perfect for moody nail days. You could brighten it up a bit with some sparkle polish over the top or wear as is. I love it and I find myself wearing it all the time.
