I was kindly sent these limited edition bath salts from True Botanicals for review and it was perfect timing because I’d been feeling a bit under the weather so a detox bath soak was definitely on the menu!

True Nature Botanicals | Vitality Dead Sea Bath Salts Review

The wonderful thing about the Vitality Dead Sea Bath Salts is that they’re formulated to help detox, hydrate, and relax your body. In my opinion, these bath salts are the perfect kind of soak for the insane holiday season, but even during the cold winter months when you may need a bit rejuvenation; these are perfect.

Sleep like a baby…

The scent is quite unique and it wasn’t my favorite part about these, if I’m honest, but I do like the effects of using these in a bath soak. After soaking for 20 minutes in a bath with these, I was so relaxed I had to use all the strength I could muster to put myself in bed before going out like a light. It really does work and that’s something I haven’t experienced with any other bath salt. So, while I may not enjoy the scent very much, I think these are amazing and very much doing their job! You need only a handful

Notable Ingredients:

Not your average Dead Sea Salts

While many dead sea salts have been treated to the point that their mineral content has been stripped out (meaning your skin won’t get the necessarily minerals it craves!), TN Botanicals uses certified dead sea salts that are sourced directly from mineral-rich southern end of the Dead Sea. This leaves the mineral content intact so the salts offer your skin valuable minerals your skin (and body) need like magnesium, calcium, sulfur, bromide, iodine, sodium, zinc, and potassium. Magnesium plays a huge role in stress regulation and is largely depleted in your body, but easily absorbed topically (via the skin) so this is a great way to get some extra magnesium into your body. If you have issues with metabolism, stress, fatigue, you may find these beneficial to you!

Ylang Ylang

This heady floral is sourced from Madagascar and lends some uplifting optimism to the bath salts. I enjoy ylang ylang because I think it helps me feel a little more optimistic. Yes, I’m aware that sounds weird, but it works! Aside from that use, ylang ylang also helps balance oil in the skin, minimize breakouts, smooth fine lines, regenerate skin cells, and improve skin elasticity.

Another uplifting scent, this Italian bergamot is a rejuvenating spicy citrus one. I love anything citrus, especially bergamot, because it has wonderful calming effects to our nervous system. Moreover, it can also revive dull skin and even out your skin tone, heal blemishes and kill bacteria, and diminish scarring from acne or otherwise.

French neroli is an essential oil many claim to have aphrodisiac properties so it’s largely uplifting 😉 It can help tone and sagging skin and smooth out fine lines, diminish stretch marks, and balance oily or dry skin. On top of that, it may also help relieve anxiety and depression, calm fevers and relieve headaches, menstrual cramps and PMS, and improve your overall circulation. It’s also credited as a sleep aid which would explain my narcolepsy bout straight out of the bath LOL…

of course! These are special bath salts because of how they are sourced. Most other bath salts on the market tend to be low quality and inefficient at actually helping destress and detox the body. These actually work! Thanks for sharing the link up ♥
