The Ultimate Halloween Movie Guide

The Ultimate Halloween Movie Guide for Fall

I’m a huge movie buff, as you might know, and I’ve done a ton of fun Halloween movie posts over the years sharing my Halloween film favorites, movies that scare the crap out of me, and even movies with magical, fairy tale themes! These are movies you can watch this coming fall and all throughout the month of October whether you want something a little creepy, family-friendly, classic horror, a spin on classic fairy tales, or even some horror and fantasy TV shows you can binge watch on Netflix and Hulu πŸ˜‰

Hi! Great post! You’ve mentioned most of my favorites here. I love Silent Hill, it’s scary and creepy but also creative and artistically unique. Underworld and Blade are my all-time favorite vampire flicks. 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later are great movies, and so are Dawn of the Dead (2004 & 1978), Resident Evil, and The Evil Dead. A couple of movies that are great but haven’t been given enough credit are I Am Legend and The Mist. I love the month of October because it gives me an excuse to see all my favorite horror films.

awesome! glad you like these movies also πŸ™‚ I enjoyed I Am Legend, but I was upset that it was nothing like the book. The book is a totally different and I’m a huge Richard Matheson fan so I can’t say I enjoyed that one, but never seen The Mist – I’ll check it out! I know I love watching good horror films haha. I just rewatched all the Scream movies – so much fun!

Okay, I definitely need to up my movie game because the only one I’ve seen is Hocus Pocus (which is definitely my favorite Halloween movie)!
