Something I’ve done in the past, especially when I was in the throes of an obsession with ABC’s Once Upon A Time, was to make TV workouts that I could do during the show. I know that watching TV is something we all do and why not make it an opportunity to get in some circuit training while you enjoy it?
I like this for a few reasons. For one, it gets me moving instead of snacking. If I’m sitting down, I’m much more likely to snack on something or eat the entire popcorn bowl. For another thing, I burn calories and time goes by a LOT faster than if I just did the workout by itself or just watched the TV show. So, in the spirit of all who love fall TV as much as I do and want to enjoy their shows and burn some calories while they do it, here are some fun TV show workouts you can do this season or if you happen to be catching up on past seasons of shows.
If you don’t know how TV show workouts work, it’s quite easy. It’s very similar to drinking games. There are common “keywords” which are said in that show and they will coincide with an exercise. Read on and pin your favorite one for later!
