Happy Fitspo + Inspiration Wednesday!
I hope you’re all having a fantastic week so far 🙂
This week’s post is about stay positive and celebrating your small successes every step of the way. It can be difficult to keep a smile on your face when you’re struggling, whether it’s in fitness, your career, or anything really, but keeping a positive attitude is super important for your success. You have to believe that you can succeed and then envision it happening for yourself. And then you have to keep doing it! One thing you can do to keep your motivation and positivity levels up is to celebrate your small achievements. Whether that means you lost 5 pounds, 5 inches, or got a new job, be sure to give yourself credit for your hard work. It’s been a bit of a struggle for me to give myself credit for anything. I’m not sure if it comes down to the fact that I was raised to not to be boastful or if it’s because, as a female, we’re all encouraged to be as small, quiet and modest as possible and therefore go unheard and unappreciated, even by ourselves, but whatever it is, it has got to change. You MUST celebrate your every small success and make your accomplishments known, LOUD and PROUD. I’m not saying you should be obnoxious, but you should be happy when you succeed and others will be too. So, that’s today’s theme and I’m throwing in some “Reasons to be Fit” as well as some inspiring before and afters from tumblr 🙂
