Spooky, Cute and Scary | The Best Halloween Decorations

I feel like I start every Halloween post with “I love Halloween” and although I really do, I thought it’s probably getting a bit tired so this is me avoiding an intro 😛 Anyway, let’s talk about Halloween decor and Halloween decorations. They’re awesome; I love seeing them around this time of year. The orange lights, pumpkins of all shapes and sizes carved or painted into amazing designs, and tons of other amazing ways to get into the spirit of Halloween. There are some wonderful places to gain decor inspiration from online and I thought I’d share a few of my favorites because I’ve seen TONS of decorations (which basically makes me an expert, right?) and these are my favorite for this year 🙂

The Best Halloween Decorations

raven porch halloween decor

Raven Inspired Porch from Create Craft Love

I absolutely LOVE this porch idea! I love the idea of birds like ravens or bats on Halloween and this looks both creepy and festive.

halloween-table- halloween decor party

Black and White Halloween Table from Room for Dessert

Halloween table displays can really take your party to the next level and this one is SO stylish! It’s a more grown up version of Halloween for anyone throwing an adult-only dinner party or something with a specific theme.

monster doors halloween

Monster Doors from Good to Know

Monster doors are such a cute Halloween decor idea! I love how simple or elaborate they can get. You can make them cute and silly and super scary. It’s a fun craft to do with your kids or some friends, I think. I love how they paired this door with pumpkins and tombstones!

“Firefly Lanterns” Mason Jar DIY from Lil Blue Boo

Mason Jar DIY Projects are amazing for any holiday, in my opinion. I love these little firefly mason jars because they look so perfectly fall! They’re not necessarily Halloween-themed, but I think these are so pretty you could put them around your house or porch and keep them through the new year.

halloween decor pumpkins

Elegant Halloween Decor from The Happy Housie

I love the simplicity of this pumpkin decor! It’s so cool how they painted a letter on each one to spell out wicked. I think you could do something similar and spell out tons of things like boo or spooky or something. You could use more fun colors or keep it chic with monochrome colors like black, white and grey!

Pumpkin Candy Holders from by Stephanie Lynn

Isn’t this pumpkin idea so cute?! I love how the pumpkins were carved into funny faces and then they put candy in them. It’s functional and decorative so you don’t have to buy a candy bowl which is awesome!
