♥ Happy Fitspo & Inspiration Wednesday! ♥
This week’s edition of fitspo and inspiration is another special edition type post, just to keep you guys from getting board. We’ve talked all about how to stay focused, stay positive, work hard, see results, appreciate yourself, and stay motivated so I thought in this week’s post, it would be fun to share some workouts I’ve found online that I do or that are similar to what I do at home or in the gym. I hope you enjoy and try some of them out ♥
This swimming workout is perfect to do in the hot weather we’ve been having plus it’s in the pool so, even though it’s challenging, it will still feel like fun recreation instead of just plain old working out.
There are a ton of workouts like the one above online, especially on Pinterest, but BackonPointe offers some of the best ones I’ve seen. She’s done them for arms, abs. cardio, and all manner of other muscle groups you’d want to get in shape.
BodyRock.TV has some awesome workouts, most of which are around 10-20 minutes long, but they can get pretty intense. Again, they offer workouts to target a wide range of muscles from legs to abs to butt to all over cardio, you can find a workout to do on this site, some of which actually rival Insanity in their challenge levels.
Kettlebells are great for building muscle and burning fat at home. They’re especially good if you’d like to build up strength without hitting an actual gym or having to invest in too many dumbbells. A kettlebell or two are all you need to get your body into great shape.
This ab workout from Pumps and Iron is pretty intense and helps build your core muscles for more strength, endurance and stamina as well as giving you the abs you want. There’s a good variety of exercises in this one and it’s reasonably short so everyone can benefit and make time to try it out.
Mixing things up with some strength training and cardio is the perfect storm for stimulating weight loss or building strength, muscle, endurance and stamina all at once. I really like this workout from FitSugar which allows you to do strength and cardio all in the same workout and saves you a lot of time when you’re at the gym. No need for standing around and wondering where you’re going or what you’re doing next.
