Skeem Design Candles for Spring 2015
I was so fortunate to receive some Skeem candles for review a few months back as they have a gorgeous lineup of hand-poured soy candles carefully made in small batches to ensure freshness and top notch quality.
I had been a huge fan of their beautiful designs for ages and, after experiencing the candles for myself, I can tell you they absolutely live up to the photos!

The Skeem Design Story
Skeem Design began after Geoff and Suji, husband and wife, quit their jobs to pursue their dream of working together. Inspired by their world travels, they utilized their backgrounds in product development and design to create a beautiful line of hand poured soy candles and other home items. The result? A stunning collection of home items that are as beautiful as they are useful.
Things to Love ♥
- Soy based candles are naturally made, hand poured, and crafted in small batches
- All product packaging is designed to be both beautiful and reusable to minimize waste.
- After you’re done enjoying the Skeem Design candles, their jars can be re-purposed to hold everyday home items, as beautiful glasses, or jars to hold accessories and other small bits and bobs.
One thing I really love about these candles is that they are so, so beautiful. I’m a big fan of candles as I have them burning around my home all the time to keep things smelling nice. I love a good candle with a lot of thought put into it and this line definitely fits the bill. The glass jars that house these soy candles come in such stunning designs that you’ll definitely want to keep them around long after the candles have burnt out. I love the unique idea of reusing all the jars as glasses and jars to carry everyday items. It’s so intuitive and such a no-brainer, but not one you might normally think of yourself. I also love their adorable colored strike matches. They come in these adorable glass jars and I’ve found they’re such fun to use! On top of that, the scents of each candle have been different and original in their own right. I received 3 different candles: tea leaf and 2 in warm amber. All the jars were different sizes and each came with a delicate, ornate lid in metal or tin with a design matching it’s jar. The fine details here are what really sets this brand and their products apart and I can’t recommend them enough.
