With the weekend comes great things…like awesome sales on swimwear
I was so excited to see this in my email this morning!
I know, again with the swimwear obsession, but it is summer after all so at least it’s sort of appropriate!
Anyway, there are tons of great swimsuits on offer right now at the Orchid Boutique, but here are a few of my favorites ♥
Maui and Agua Bendita have some lovely swimwear and the patterns and beading on some of them is just incredible. I love this one for it’s pattern as it’s super tropical and fun. The cut of it is simple and perfect for getting a nice tan without any weird lines anywhere. If only I could get that deep mocha tan now to go with the suit haha!
This may sound weird, but I really love the waistband of the bottoms. I love the shell pattern of the suit, of course, but the bottom waistband kind of makes it for me because I hate how some swimsuit bottoms just don’t sit right on my waist and end up looking weird. Or worse, if they pinch your hips in an unflattering way. Thicker waistbands tend to be more flattering on the figure and more comfortable to wear.
This is very tribal chic! I love the funky colors and my friend Rachel would probably LOVE this suit. Seriously, she’s obsessed with tribal and it’s really starting to rub off on me. If I had a deep tan, it would look FANTASTIC.
I love the colors of this suit and the fact that the bottoms have side ties. Also, the crochet work on the pattern is a really lovely touch that makes the swimsuit look really funky hippie chic..or something. Whatever it is, I love it ♥
This is one of my favorites of the lot purely for the reason that the bead work and hardware on this suit are incredible and they definitely embody that exotic mermaid look – no? Just picture this on the mermaids in Peter Pan or in Splash – it works right?! Well, it might just be me, but I definitely think Ariel would rock this look so THERE.
I’m not normally a cover up gal, but apparently it was only because I hadn’t yet seen these two! This first one is really pretty without being overly complicated. It’s basically like a loose fitting tunic with lovely beading and embroidery detailing on it. I love the floral pattern – I’m not sure why, but it makes me picture Tahiti? Anyway, the plunging v-neck is really flattering on anyone, in my opinion!
This swimsuit cover up is a bit more realistic for someone who wants to cover up and go do other activities (like eat at a beach side cafe or something) and then return to the beach or pool or whichever without getting fully dressed. The romper is super simple, but the crochet work makes it look a lot more complicated than it is and therefore all the more stylish. It’s see through so you’d be wearing your swimsuit underneath (hopefully) and it will show through for pretty contrast. Personally, I don’t think this photo does it much justice – I think it would be a whole lot better if they’d used a contrasting color bikini like purple or blue to show the pattern a bit more, but hey, it’s still lovely nonetheless.
So, that’s all for this week’s edition of Tianna’s swimsuit obsession – same time next week?
Have A Great Weekend!
