Ritualistic Beauty Roots: GingerChi Beauty Review

I’m really excited to share a new brand discovery with you all today! The brand is GingerChi, a natural beauty brand I discovered through Etsy and they were kind enough to send me a few products to review which I’ve been trying out the past few months and I have some serious new green beauty loves to share with you all so read on!

About the Brand

GingerChi is a natural beauty brand that works to create handmade, holistic, natural, organic, and cruelty free products that help improve your chi and therefore your overall well being. Their products are made without parabens, petroleum, mineral oil or artificial color/ fragrances and they are firmly against animal testing. All products are lovingly handmade in New York, USA.

Products I Love:

  • GingerChi Oral Detox Oil-Pulling Blend – This is such a unique product! Basically, it’s a handcrafted oil-pulling blend which you can use to help improve your overall oral health. It’s meant to be used alongside your regular routine and can help improve overall dental health and detoxify the body when used daily. The blend is made up of natural and organic sunflower oil, fresh ginger, peppermint, tea tree, and myrrh and help improve bad breath, gum health, whiten teeth, and clean the mouth without upsetting it’s natural state. It also claims such benefits as better sleep, clear skin and sinuses, and even decreased allergies. I loved using this and definitely felt that my mouth was cleaner, fresher, and gums and teeth looked and felt healthier than before.
  • GingerChi Nail Repair Serum – This nail repair serum is formulated with natural hemp and sesame oils as well as vitamin E, ginger, grapefruit, lavender and tea tree. It works to heal dry, brittle, and weak nails and can also serve as a weekly nightly nail treatment for those who just want to give their nails a break and maintain healthy nails. I really enjoyed using this as a weekly treatment. It applies just like you would nail polish, but it’s an oil and I really think this has helped keep my nails in good condition in between painting them which I tend to do a lot these days.
  • GingerChi Anti-Aging Chi Roller Jade Therapy and Argan Face Oil Set – This was such a cool experience as I’d never tried jade rolling before. Basically, you apply the face oil to your skin and then use the roller to massage in upward and outward strokes to help stimulate skin cell turnover and aid the face oil in absorbing into the skin. I really loved this namely because it totally helped the face oil absorb into my skin really well and I saw a big difference after using this a few nights a week. It comes with a helpful diagram and directions so you know how to use the jade roller as well.
  • GingerChi Rejuvenating Ginseng Face Toner – This face toner was super refreshing and has a pleasant, non-overwhelming scent to it. It’s very simple to use and I enjoyed using it in between my serums and creams after cleansing. It’s formulated with rose and melissa waters as well as aloe, Siberian ginseng, and sea silk to help heal, soften, condition and soothe skin. I love the subtle, refreshing scent to this toner! The only thing I wish it had is a more pressurized mister. It kind of just sprays out in this container which is fine for cotton pads, but not so relaxing when you spray directly onto your face.

What I Love About GingerChi

I love GingerChi for a number of reasons! I love that their products have a holistic approach in healing your body and your skin all at once. I love that they offer natural products which are both effective, gentle and that can be used alongside a self-loving wellness approach. I think that while natural skincare products can be amazing for any beauty routine, they do need to be backed up by a loving approach to health and wellness in order to truly be optimally beneficial to you and your life.

Interesting. I never heard of jade rolling before. Very intriguing, though, and definitely something I think I would look into if I was on the search of a new skincare routine. Thanks for sharing!!

yeah I had heard of it before actually trying it and to be honest, I thought it would be useless, but I was surprised it does really help massage and stimulate skin cells and definitely helps face oils absorb better! thanks for stopping by ♥

I’ve never heard of this brand before but I love that it’s made in New York! I love to make the extra effort to support companies that make their products in the USA!
