Autumn has always been my favorite season and not just because of Halloween. Fall is a great time for revamping yourself. That and the weather is just better. As I sit here writing this in 102 F degree heat, I can only tell you that it’s freaking August and I’m already dreaming of ways to refresh for fall because I NEED cooler weather to be here RIGHT NOW! Don’t ask me why I’m writing this in August, but I am. It’s ridiculous how hot it is so I thought I would pretend it’s October, that there’s a cool breeze, and that I’m not slowly melting in my chair. So, if you’re finally reading this in October, this is past Tianna saying PLEASE SEND HELP!
Kidding, kind of, but seriously thank God it’s going to be cooler by the time this goes live because #ImthinkImDead. 5 Ways to Refresh for Fall Right Now
Relax & Reflect.
This probably means something different to each person, but really what I mean is take a second to just breathe! That could mean yoga, meditation, or just talking with some friends. The summer season has just ended so take a moment for reflection. You can enter thoughts in your diary, start a gratitude journal, create a fun fall bucket list, or simply feel the good vibes coming your way!
Reset Your Diet.
Whenever the seasons change, you should take a beat and reset your diet. You might need to detox yourself of sugar and junk food or maybe you just want to swap out some foods to more fall favorites. It could also be something as simple as drinking more water and eating more greens.
Regroup with Your Loved Ones.
In the hustle and bustle of summer, you may have left your loved ones in the dust for a bit so make a conscious effort to get together! Go pick apples on a local farm, carve some pumpkins or throw a party together!
Rejuvenate Your Goals.
With all the fun of summer, you might have fallen off a bit when it comes to achieving your goals, but that’s what fall is for! Take a minute to sit down and reassess what’s important to you. What do you want to accomplish before the end of 2015? Write down all your goals and check in each month to see where you’re at.
Refresh Your Life.
All of these things will help you to hit refresh on every aspect of your life, but if all else fails, buy some new sweaters, put on some cute boots, and enjoy yummy fall food and all this season has to offer!
