The Most Basic Effective Hydrating Organic Beauty Oil: Trilogy Organic Rosehip Oil Review

Happy Friday Everyone!

Trilogy Organic Rosehip Oil Review

I hope your week has been wonderful! I was so thrilled when Trilogy Organics sent me over a sample of their beloved Organic Rosehip Oil as well as a sample of their Vital Moisturizer because both are amazing, but first, let’s learn about Trilogy as a brand.

About the Brand

Trilogy Organics is a New Zealand based brand that began when two sisters experimented with trying to extract the most pure oil from rosehip seeds. The beauty benefits they experienced inspired them to create the brand and subsequent products we know today. Combined with ethical, sustainable, certified organic, all natural, and cruelty free, Trilogy was one of the first brands to show that going “green” or going “organic” with your beauty routine was not impossible, nor was it overly expensive. Their products are formulated with simple yet pure and potent ingredients which work to heal, rejuvenate, brighten and perfect skin using all that nature has to offer.

Other Fun Facts About Rosehip Oil

Miranda Kerr gives the credit for her glowing complexion to her regular use of Organic Rosehip Oil as a night treatment. Rose Byrne claims it keeps her sensitive skin calm and clear. Check out both of these ladies on google and you’ll see they both have amazing skin!

My Overall Thoughts on Trilogy Organic Products

Both the Certified Organic Rosehip Oil and the Vital Moisturizer were great to use! The rosehip oil is extracted in a way that preserves all the potent vitamins, antioxidants and essential fatty acids so they are intact when you go to use the oil to help heal, calm, and hydrate your skin. While using this oil, I noticed my skin was more balanced, glowy, soft, hydrated, soothed, and I experienced less irritation and breakouts on my sensitive skin. It was also great to use before using my RMS Un-Cover Up on my light makeup days.

The Vital Moisturizer is a fantastic light moisturizer for any skin type as it’s both super gentle, hydrating, soothing. Both the rosehip oil and the Vital Moisturizer absorbed very quickly into the skin, leaving little to no residue behind. I hadn’t tried rosehip face oil before now and I will never go back! This oil is nearly as good as my other favorite, marula oil, and actually feels a bit more brightening. Also, the rosehip oil was also amazing on my nails, helping to heal my nail beds and make my nails grow faster! It was also great to use as an after shower hair oil to fight frizz. I can’t recommend either of these enough and I’ll definitely be picking up replacements when the samples run out!

The type I prefer kind of depends on the type of the year and my current skin condition but I do like using both oils and creams.

I don’t mind either as long as the oil isn’t too greasy and will be absorbed easily.

I like both I have to say, I’ve found using an oil waiting for it to sink in and then using a cream works wonders 🙂 I was really worried about using oils as first as well.

I’ve always used creams, being wary that oils might take some time to absorb. I would like to try an oil though and would probably use a little, followed by cream afterwards.

I haven’t tried oil. Though now it is mentioned, I would like to try it. As I think oil would be more replenishing and easily absorbed in comparison to cream.

I prefer creams just because i feel they lock in the moisture longer. However I definitely love argan oil and use it daily so maybe a one two combo of oil and cream.
