Olivine Love + Salt Spray Review

I’ve been wanting to try out this Love + Salt Spray from Olivine Atelier for ages and when I finally got the chance to test it out, I was psyched! This spray is everything I could want in a beach hair + body mist type combination and then some. Really, it’s summertime encapsulated in a bottle so the name, Amongst the Waves, is definitely appropriate!

Love + Salt Spray Review

What I Love

I’m so impressed by this mist! First of all, it smells AMAZING. It’s called Love + Salt Spray, the subtitle beneath the name is “Amongst the Waves,” and I’ll be completely honest: both are entirely appropriate. This is the stuff of dreams because it smells just like summertime. I am a southern California native and I can say with full confidence that this is a legit beach girl, beach hair mist. It smells like summer (walks like rain..lol JK) and gives you effortless beach waves.

Mist your body and skip perfume for the day because you will smell sweet and delicious! It smells sweet and a bit tropical; kind of like a mix between cotton candy and coconuts. My boyfriend said I smelled like cake, if that’s any indication, but it’s not in the cupcake candle kind of way (because I don’t actually like that smell LOL).  As a hair mist, it works wonders all on it’s own. All you have to do is spray it onto damp hair and let it dry naturally or dry hair that’s in a bun (leave up til dry) and Voilà! Instant beach hair with no crunch. You waves will look tousled, feel soft, and smell amazing.

I’m pretty sold on this stuff, but don’t take my work for it. Try it for yourself. It’s affordable at only $10 for the 2 Oz. or $24 for the 8 Oz.  My only warning is that once you try it, you will never want to use anything else!

Olivine Love + Salt Spray Benefits

  • Includes a delicious scent blend, hydrating coconut oil, and a blend of natural salts which are both hydrating and lends valuable minerals to your skin and hair.
  • Vegan Formula
  • Eco-Friendly Glass Bottle Packaging
  • Multi-purpose mist can be used on your body for added hydration, softness, and gorgeous scent as well as on your hair for cool, non-crunchy, soft, and sultry beach waves.

You can get two versions of this mist: the one I have: Love + Salt Spray which I think is ideal for summery beach days and/or their latest Love + Roses Spray which is probably more suited to Fall/Winter/Spring.

The mist sounds so good, just the scent alone makes me want to buy it, and an amazing list of ingredients packed in there too! Great review 🙂 Tania x

yeah honestly for the scent alone it’s worth it! lol . I’m obsessed with the scent and it’s really awesome for giving your hair texture or scenting your body in a really subtle way. thanks Tania 🙂

I love using sea salt spray! My hair is wavy, but doesn’t have enough motivation to look good unless I add a little something extra. Beach spray always does the trick. I’ll have to try this one sometime!

me too! Haha my hair is wavy, but it seriously cannot make it’s mind up. I love this for adding texture or even if you want bedhead kind of hair or soft waves, this is perfect and it’s super soft and smells lovely. Not crunchy at all. The price is also really reasonable. thanks for stopping by Emiy!

I love the look of the bottles! They’re so simple, but so cute. I’ve never tried a salt spray, but I saw a YouTuber feature some in a video, and I’ve been wanting to try some ever since!
