Non-Toxic Halloween Nails

Okay, so these non-toxic Halloween nails are more like, festive fall nails rather than skeleton Frankenstein themed, but that’s mainly because my nail game is not where it ought to be. It’s not for lack of trying, though, and I have to say my nail game is improving every day! I recently figured out how to use washi tapes to do nail art so that’s helping me out a lot and I’m having fun trying.

This month’s nail polish favorite has definitely been this Zoya nail polish I purchased from Ulta in Tanzy, a bright shimmering orange color. I was surprised by how opaque it can build up which makes it a very versatile color. You can make the color dark enough on it’s own, really light for a pretty shimmering coat on clear nails, or however you like. I’ve used it on it’s own and with various other colors are you’ll see below. You may have seen these on my instagram as well 😉

This is me attempting stripe nails haha. The grey color is Kure Bazaar polish in Smokey which I think is perfect for fall! I use it all the time for my nails.

Here’s the gorgeous Tanzy all on it’s own which, as I said, can be used in one coat for a slightly transparent look or built up (like I did here) for a more opaque look.

And, lastly, here is tanzy with Butter London nail polish in Union Jack Black ♥

Very cute, I’m currently avoiding painting my nails after the news that they found even “non-toxic” ones to have fire retardants. Hopefully EWG (Skin Deep) will have the updated info soon. I want to paint them! 🙂
