NEW ILIA Beauty Discoveries!
If you’ve been following along for awhile, you might know about my love for ILIA Beauty, but if not, you can check back to my very first post on ILIA and you’ll see I’ve been a huge fan for years! I got even more excited when I found out they were finally releasing a line of face cosmetic products so, of course, I had to try their Tinted Moisturizer alongside a few lip colors I’ve had my eye on for awhile.
What I Got:
- ILIA Tinted Lip Conditioner in In Paradise
- ILIA Mascara in Shadow of a Doubt – a gorgeous charcoal grey color
- ILIA Sheer Vivid Tinted Moisturizer in Los Roques (T1) AKA the lightest shade
- ILIA Lip Gloss in Gypsy
- ILIA Lipstick in Voilà
Left to Right: Shadow of a Doubt, Voilà, In Paradise, Gypsy and Los Roques
I’m loving all of these! In Paradise is the most beautiful spring pink. It’s bright, but still a beautiful pink that’s very wearable. It’s not too neon or too bright; it’s just the perfect color that I think would be flattering on all skin tones. Voilà is a beautiful orange coral color that’s a gorgeous shade for spring and summer. It’s very bright, though; definitely only meant for those who want a standout lip color. Gypsy is a beautiful lip gloss color and although it looks a lot like rust or blood when swatched, on my lips, it looks more like a flush of color. It’s just the slightest red tint on my lips so it looks very natural and could easily be worn with a number of looks. It’s not dark at all in the slightest. Last of all, the Vivid Sheer Tinted Moisturizer has a good amount of coverage, though not as good as the Glow Time from Jane Iredale. This is a lot more sheer than that one, but it still has a nice, natural finish to it and the overall effect is brightening on the skin which I love on days when I really don’t feel like wearing makeup. This is a nice way to even skin tone and get the dewy, natural skin (but better) look.
