I’m really excited to share this review with you guys today as it’s for the Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay!

Naked 3 Palette Review ♥

Each of the Naked palettes from Urban Decay (there are now 4 including this one) have something unique to offer and this one is unique in that all of the eye shadows have a rose gold tint to them which is really beautiful and natural looking! Aside from this Naked 3 Palette, there’s also the original Naked Palette (neutral browns and navy blue greys), Naked 2 Palette ( neutral taupe browns, tans and black/charcoal colors), Naked Basics (all neutral matte shadows from flesh toned to black), and the Naked 3 Palette ( rose gold neutrals from flesh colored with a hint of peach to a black/charcoal plum with color flecks).

Who It’s For:

I think I like this Naked 3 Palette the best simply because I love antique rosy pinks and purple tones and all of the shadows in this palette are either dusty pinks, fleshy peachy pinks, brown neutral dusty lilacs, violet greys, and then the deep charcoal gold-flecked plum at the end. If you’re someone who loves to use purples and pinks frequently and you like natural looking eye shadows, this is for you! You can definitely make your eyes up or down with this palette so I don’t want you to think it’s all barely there looks because it has a lot of potential depending on your skill level with makeup. You can actually layer all of the colors on top of one another, if you wanted, for a fun unique look as well. I’ve done 3 different makeup looks using the palette to show you guys what you can achieve with it, but I’m sure if you’re a makeup artist or just better at applying makeup than me then you can get even more intricate looks out of it. I just did some simple, varied ones so you can see what the palette is capable of (scroll down to see those!).

What You Get:

In the palette, you also receive 4 small round pouch samples of each of the Urban Decay Eye Shadow Primer Potions – Original, Sin, Eden & Anti-Aging. I’m not sure why, but a lot of people are complaining that they got samples of the primer potion instead of the travel size that typically comes with the Naked Palettes. Personally, I like that I get to try all of the primer potions so I can choose which I like best. Plus, the sample pouches actually have a lot of product in them so you can definitely try them out a few times before it’s used up. Aside from the sample pouches, you also receive the standard double-ended eye shadow brush which is really good quality. Mine has a strange smell to it which isn’t bad, necessarily, but also is kind of random. I only smelled it when I put my nose right up to the brush because I was curious, but other than that, you can’t smell it really. The brushes on both ends are great quality, they don’t shed, and they pick up and put down the product really well. They’re also easy to clean and the eye shadow won’t permanently stain them so you can get totally clean brushes every time you wash them which I personally like a lot.

3 Makeup Looks You Can Achieve With This Palette ♥

To get the same base as what is shown in all the photos, you can reference the products I used in my FOTD: Everyday Makeup Look post because those are ones that I use all the time and the same ones I used here except for the lips and the eye shadows (obviously).

Naked 3 Palette Colors Used:  Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit & Buzz

Lips: ILIA Beauty Tinted Lip Conditioner in Blossom Lady { See My Review & Swatches HERE! }

The Antique Rose is a barely there type neutral pink look and it’s meant for everyday makeup that is hardly detectable. I personally love that all natural look because it’s what I wear most of the time and I enjoy makeup that’s undetectable.

Naked 3 Palette Colors Used:  Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, & Factory

Lips: Dolce & Gabbana Lipstick in Devil

My personal favorite look is this Classic Red, though, because it looks really pretty, classic,and it’s not hard to achieve! All I’ve done is layer a few more of the darker colors over the Antique Rose look to get a neutral smokey eye look that is just subtle enough to go well with a classic red lip.

Naked 3 Palette Colors Used: Strange, Dust, Burnout, Limit, Buzz, Trick, Nooner, Liar, Factory, Mugshot, Darkside & Blackheart

Lips: Revlon Colorburst Matte Lip Balm in Shameless { See My Review HERE! }

This is a fun, bold grunge makeup look and it’s all the colors in the palette layered over one another with a heavy smokey eye using Blackheart. I think it’s a really fun look for nighttime, especially going clubbing.
