My Slipper Obsession In Winter ♥

So I have to admit to being a little bit addicted to wearing slippers in the fall and winter months. Like, all the time. Like, if I could get away with wearing them to work and passing them off as work shoes, I would. And I’m really not ashamed of it, but buying slippers left and right has gotten kind of out of hand. I have slipper socks, regular slippers and even sock boots which are a slight step up from actually slippers in that they look like they might be okay to wear outdoors…which I do. See? No shame. Anyhow, so I thought I’d share my current obsessive need to have and wear tons of slippers with you all in the hopes of infecting some of you as well because why? Because like any virus, I need to spread the love..err slipper love. 😛

Guys also like wearing slippers. We are a shoes off at the door and slippers on family. There are always lots of slippers by the door. I have hand made leather slippers. When we visit friends and family we take our slippers to change into. This is pretty much the norm in our area.

🙂 Of course! My boyfriend wears these loafer ones haha. He loves them. Are you Asian? That’s very traditional for most Asian people I know (Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese). If you’re not, that’s cool too, but I was just wondering! It’s very hygienic to do that! I rent rooms in a house so I only take my shoes off at my room, but I definitely prefer it to keep floors clean and it’s comfortable 🙂

No I am English. We face a stark choice here. You either wear slippers in the house or have very cold feet. We have just had our first hot summer since 2006!!! But now it’s back to reality. It never seems to stop raining.

Indeed we do. Many people here take their shoes off at the door here.It is a familiar site to see the the families slippers by the door. Many also take slippers with them when visiting. We hold church groups and also attend them at other houses. At this time of year just about everyone will be in their slippers. We live in a affluent semi rural area where the roads are extremely dirty. Consequently, removing shoes at the door is the norm.

Oh I see. That’s really good then. I love slippers just for warmth and aesthetics and comfort, but it’s good they’re very functional for some 🙂
