Maya Chia Super Blend Review

Maya Chia Super Blend Review

I’ve been testing out the Maya Chia Super Blend for several months now and I’m LOVING IT! I first experienced Maya Chia products with their much-loved Super Couple Face Oil some time last spring. While it wasn’t love at first sight with that one, I have grown to love it as a very efficient face oil for the cold months! So, because of that experience, I never thought that I would be so happy with the results the Super Blend has given me, to be quite frank, but the ingredients in this are amazing. The natural plant ingredients in this pressed serum are effective, gentle, and restorative. Your skin will love this stuff; here’s why…

What It Does:

The Super Blend does a million things for your skin all at once. It firms and smooths out fine lines, wrinkles, and lifts sagging skin. It brightens, heals, revitalizes tired, dull complexions. The balm helps to even out your skin tone while also soothing inflammation, minimizing pores, and reducing moisture loss! In so few words, it’s amazing and it does it all.

Hero Ingredients:

The Super Blend Pressed Serum has several hero ingredients in the formula that are absolutely worth mentioning. Because of their efficacy for revitalizing, healing, and hydrating your skin, these ingredients really set the Super Blend apart from your typical natural and organic balms.

Plant Based Astaxanthin

The natural astaxanthin within this pressed serum (let’s call it what it is: a balm!) is truly an incredibly powerful ingredient for skincare. Astaxanthin stems from a microalgae plant and is over 14 times stronger than vitamin E and 65 times stronger than vitamin C at fending off free radicals (which cause premature aging, sun damage, etc.). Moreover, astaxanthin works alongside vitamin C to amplify it’s skin brightening and cell regeneration properties. Talk about a DOPE face balm!

Collagen Amino Acids

Plant based collagen amino acids in the formula smooth out fine lines and help firm sagging skin which is good because I don’t desire to look like the crypt keeper yet. Skin tissue is firmed by stimulating collagen fibers, encouraging collagen production, and protecting these fibers from further free radical damage.

Sweet White Lupin

Sweet white lupin seed oil strengthens and firms your skin while allowing your skin to heal itself more efficiently and reduce sagging in contours of your face. No jabba the hut jaws – YAY! Several in vivo studies show improved firmness and reduced sagging in over 90% of participants.

Supercritical Chia

Supercritical Chia seed oil is a potent antioxidant for your skin. Immensely nutrient dense, chia seed oil helps increase skin hydration, reduce trans-epidermal water loss in skin, and help your skin’s barrier function do it’s job better (no more dehydrated skin, ya’ll!).

Other wonderful ingredients included in this balm are CoQ10, Vitamin C, Yarrow, Horsetail, Sage, Babassu, Kokum, Sunflower, Neroli, Jasmine, Rosewood, Vetiver, and many more.

I mentioned this amazing pressed serum in the video above as one of my top picks from 2016! Go to 7:38 if you only want to hear about this one (and not all the top picks).

What I Love:

  • Hero Plant Ingredients Give Skin Actual Results
  • Natural, Organic and Wild Crafted Ingredients
  • Plant Based Formula with Top Notch Quality
  • Smells Incredible When You Breathe It In During Application

My personal experience with this amazing pressed serum has been overwhelmingly positive. My skin looks firm, soft, smooth, bright, even toned, glowing, hydrated, and wonderful. I apply this balm at night after my toner and I wake up with what looks (and feels) like brand new skin. I really can’t quite describe the effects without sounding ridiculous, but just know that THIS SH*T WORKS! And I’ll leave it at that. 😉
