Kester Black is a natural nail polish brand that I had yet to try up until now. I’d seen so many other green beauty bloggers raving about it and I finally got the chance to try 2 amazing colors when Megan kindly sent them to me from her Seed to Serum shop!
The Kester Black Story
I honestly couldn’t paraphrase this origin story better than Megan from Seed to Serum so here’s their story straight from her site:
“Concerned with the lack of cruelty free and carbon neutral nail polish options available, Anna Ross founded Kester Black to shake up the beauty industry. She longed for an inspiring range of high shine, chip resistant colors and created just that! Acid yellow, mint green, fluorescent coral – Kester Black takes nail polish to the next level.
All Kester Black nail polishes are proudly Australian made using sustainable production methods including the use of recyclable materials and small batch manufacturing to minimize waste. The nail polishes are vegan, cruelty-free, and follow the “Five Free Formula” meaning they do not contain Toluene, DBP, Formaldehyde, Formaldehyde Resin, or Camphor.”
Kester Black Natural Nail Polish Review
The two colors I received are in Buttercream ( a pink-beige color ) and Paradise Punch ( a gorgeous bright orange-coral color ) and they look amazing together, as you can see! I love the colors separately as well and the fact that these nail polishes can match the color payoff and performance level of mainstream polishes without the harsh ingredients or environmental hazard.
