Kahina Essaouira Body Serum Review

I was generously sent a small sample of the latest product release – the Essaouira Body Serum – from beloved Kahina Giving Beauty. I was more than psyched to get the chance to try this one out as I’m a huge fan of the Fez Body Serum and Kahina products, in general. They’re quite the masters when it comes to products using argan that also smell incredible. If you’re unfamiliar with Kahina Beauty, they’re a unique green beauty brand in that they create all natural and organic skincare products with an emphasis on using their hero ingredient, argan oil, alongside other potent plant ingredients from around the world, especially Morocco.

Kahina Essaouira Body Serum Review

The Essaouira Body Serum smells lovely; floral and yet somewhat earthy and woodsy. The serum itself is surprisingly nourishing and also light. Some heavy body oils can break me out and this one doesn’t. It just smells wonderful and helps hydrate my skin. Inspired by the coastal village of Essaouira outside Marrakech in Morocco, the Essaouira Body Serum is rich in vitamin E and ultra hydrating to skin, working to build up moisture and elasticity in the skin. On top of that, they’ve included rose, lavender, geranium and sandalwood for a lightly floral and earthy scent which definitely shines through, though it’s not overpowering in any way. It absolutely feels hydrating, but again, not in a way that feels heavy which is something I think Kahina has really mastered. Many brands that tout argan as their hero ingredient have a tendency to get it all wrong, in my opinion. I usually experience oils that are way too heavy for my skin when it comes to argan, but not so with Kahina. They have mastered the art of creating a beautiful hydrating oil that”s not too heavy or too light, but just right.

omggg the scent is amazing and it’s surprisingly light, yet hydrating. Kahina always excels at body oils, IMO.
