Kahina Beldi Soap Review

Beldi means “traditional” or “authentic” in Moroccan

I’ve been obsessed with using the Beldi Soap from Kahina ever since I picked a jar up of this stuff over a month ago. Kahina Giving Beauty released this amazing body soap a few months back and it’s unlike anything you’ve ever tried before. Inspired by traditional Moroccan Hammam, the consistency is like a slimy gel when you pull it straight out of the jar.

It actually looks kind of gross at first look, but it’s so worth it for the results you’ll get.

It’s dark olive green in color and smells pleasantly of eucalyptus. You will need about a quarter amount for your entire body. You can use this soap as a body mask or a body soap. As a mask, you apply it to your body in a thin layer, leave it on for 10 minutes, rinse, and then use shower gloves or the Kahina Kessa Mitt (if you want a serious scrub down!).

The dead skin that will come off you will literally come right off – it’s insane!

Another way to use this is as a daily body soap in place of body wash. It’s deep cleansing, but it doesn’t strip your skin of it’s natural oils so it’s a brilliant option for people who have dry skin. I prefer to use it with shower gloves as that process gives me the best results. If you deal with dry skin, this is definitely something that will improve the state of things! It’s the simplest product formula EVER – saponified olive oil and eucalyptus oil and that’s it. The scent of eucalyptus is very relaxing at night before bed. The vitamin E rich olive oil hydrates, softens, and smooths your skin while also ridding your body skin of dry, patchy dead skin. It’s amazing and you should definitely try it out if dry skin is a concern.

Ingredients: Saponified olea europaea (olive) oil, eucalyptus globulus (eucalyptus) leaf oil

Different Ways You Can Use Beldi Soap (according to Kahina Giving Beauty):

To cleanse: Massage a tablespoon of savon noir onto skin or washcloth in bath or shower and rinse off. For skin cleansing and softening: After 5-10 minutes in bath, shower, or steam, massage into skin and leave on for up to 10 minutes before rinsing with warm water. Skin will be softened and ready for exfoliating with mitt, glove, washcloth, or konjac sponge. For best results, use Kahina Giving Beauty Moroccan kessa glove. May also be used for simple cleansing as a deliciously scented soap replacement.

Benefits of Using Kahina Beldi Soap:

  • Sloughs off dead skin cells to reveal softer, smoother, and brighter skin
  • Cleanses and Hydrates skin without stripping skin of it’s natural oils
  • Natural olive oil and eucalyptus provide an invigorating natural spa treatment for the senses and body
