Josh Rosebrook BALANCE Hair Care Review

I reviewed a bunch of Josh Rosebrook products back in September and loved every single item except for the Nourish line of hair care which I found to be a bit much for my hair. On top of that, it didn’t do much for my fine hair and so I figured I would fare better with the Balance line of shampoo and conditioner. I was so fortunate that Josh Rosebrook (the man himself) read my post and offered to send me full sizes of the Balance line to try out – thank you!

Josh Rosebrook BALANCE Hair Care Review

The first thing I noticed about the Josh Rosebrook Balance Hair line was that both the shampoo and conditioner smell lovely! The minimal packaging look simple and classy and both products are extremely gentle to use. When you use these two in the shower, there isn’t much of a discernible difference between the Balance and the Nourish line; it’s only when your hair is drying and then fully dried that you’ll even notice where these two lines differ. Where the Nourish line left my hair feeling soft, but with little volume, the Balance line seemed to bring the life back to my hair. It has more shine, bounce and volume to it now and seems to help my hair dry with very little frizz which I’m a big fan of. Frizz is an uphill battle for me so I will take it!

I really enjoy the scent and feel of these products as it’s quite relaxing to use them in the morning. The shampoo has a nice, gentle lather and the conditioner is very softening and detangling. That said, I’m not sure if it quite beats my current holy grail hair products. It is really a lovely line and if anything comes close, it’s this line. I think if you have hair a sensitive scalp, it might be better to go with Josh Rosebrook hair products simply because they are more on the end of gentle cleansing. Also, Josh Rosebrook products are a hell of a lot more affordable than other organic hair care lines so they are a great one to try if you’re looking for a more wallet-friendly pick that works! Overall, I really have enjoyed trying these lovely hair products out and I think that if you want a gentle, totally clean and green option for cleansing and conditioning your hair that really helps balance out oily (but dry and lifeless) hair, this is a great line to try out. Josh Rosebrook, as I’ve said before, always puts the utmost thought into his product formulas and it really shows when you use them. They all work well, smell amazing, and actually show results which speak for themselves.

You can purchase these from various places online including The Detox Market which is where I purchase a lot of my green beauty products!
