How to Spring Clean Your Life ♥
Springtime is a great season to give your life a deep clean. Whether your skin looks downtrodden and dull from a lack of sleep or is still suffering from the harshness of winter, these products will help put the pep back in your step! Whether you want to experience spring to the fullest and enjoy everything it has to offer or buckle down andduring this brighter season, making a list is the perfect way to make it happen! I’ve made so many lists over the years for goals, things I want to do, and so much more and they keep me accountable and mindful. Make fun of list-makers and type-A’s all you want, but they’re onto something! Another great way to accomplish your goals this season is by writing them down in a notebook and checking in with yourself either every day or once a week. Just make sure you actually look in your notebook once you finish writing your goals out otherwise it’s useless!
Whether you’re into the latest fashion trends or have something more personal in mind, giving your style a refresh is the best way to feel like your closet isn’t completely boring! You don’t have to spend a ton of money to feel like you have a new wardrobe; sometimes, all it takes is a few key pieces to make things feel fresh. For instance, adding floral styles to your wardrobe is a great way to keep your style your own, but also add a little vibrancy and brightness to your current look.
Re-Work Your Home Decor, Save & Redo Your Budget
Whether you want to pick up some new home decor pieces, save more money or just use budget tips to better manage your cash, they’re all great ways to feel anew this season. Redecorate your home with small affordable items, new furniture, and maybe just a gorgeous DIY centerpiece for spring! You can start a garden, grow or plant some new flowers, or maybe just make your own terrarium. Even hanging simple air plants in your home is a great way to bring freshness into your space. Air plants help clean toxins out of the air and plants actually help improve our mood! You can save for a summer or fall trip, read some new books, or have fun with crafts and try a few DIY projects in any area of interest.
Revamp Your Clean Eating + Workout Strategy
This is a big one for me this season. Having just moved, this was the first routine to go so I’m definitely making my health priority one for spring. If you’re new to clean eating, here’s some healthy food porn/inspiration. If getting up the motivation to work out is your biggest issue, try a little fitspo or one of these workouts. If you hate to workout and love TV, try one of my fun TV workouts! If you feel like you’re just plain stressed out, here are my tips to relieve stress. If that doesn’t work, I recommend try adding juicing and smoothies to your life as it’s definitely helped me out a lot! I’ve pinned some awesome drink recipes that will get you on the right track and there’s definitely something for everyone’s tastes. Also, my friend Kirsten is a registered dietitian nutritionist (fancy!) and she’s the most qualified person to ask for health advice, in my opinion. Thank GOD she has a sweet tooth or I’d be in trouble. She’s written a seriously cheap recipe ebook with tons of yummy dessert recipes to help keep you on track without giving up treats.
