Happy National Lipstick Day!
Today is National Lipstick Day, you guys! The day when we celebrate all our favorite lipstick and lip colors 🙂 In honor of this fun holiday, here are my top non-toxic lip colors that you’ll want to add to your makeup collection ASAP! I did things a little different this time and so all the photos are short snap videos showcasing all these lip colors with fun music and snap chat filters 😉 I hope you guys enjoy me being awkward and silly!
Nudus Lipstick in Revenge
Nudus lipsticks are among my favorite for sure! Their brand is definitely one of my favorites because their lipsticks are uniquely formulated using plant powders and extracts to create pigmented lip colors. Moreover, their colors are gorgeous and universally flattering. My favorite Nudus color is Revenge, a bold true blue-red color that’s super pigmented and has a beautiful satin-matte finish. It’s pigmented enough to use for Halloween makeup looks which is impressive for a green beauty brand!
Zuzu Luxe Lipstick in Rapture
Zuzu Luxe make some beautiful lip colors, but their lipstick in the color Rapture is my favorite! It’s PERFECT for fall makeup looks and offers a beautiful bold lip that’s flattering on any and all skin tones. The packaging is really chic – it almost looks like a bullet!
Kosas Lipstick in Undone
Kosas Cosmetics make an impressive line of fashion forward lip colors. They’re all very natural-looking, in my opinion, and include a wide range of pink and mauve tones to suit a variety of skin tones. I really love their range of pink hues, but Undone is my favorite subtle pink lip color. I also really love the way these lipsticks smell – like soft cocoa vanilla or something!
Studio78 Paris Liquid Lipstick in Velvet Wedding
In the green beauty world, the “Let’s Get Married” Liquid Lipsticks from Studio78 Paris are THE BEST you will find! They’re super pigmented and hold up against conventional liquid lipsticks extremely well. At the same time, they’re not drying like conventional liquid lipsticks tend to be and the pigmentation is beautiful, dynamic, and lasts for hours on end.
Jane Iredale Just Kissed Lip & Cheek Stain in Forever Peach
Jane Iredale make my favorite line of self-adjusting lip and cheek stains. Forever Red and Forever Peach are 2 beautiful lip colors that adjust to your lip’s tone to create a flattering red or peach tone. My personal favorite is the Forever Peach tint because it’s the perfect beachy coral peach color for summer. These stains are not drying like many lip stains can be. Instead, they feel almost like balms with a high shine and lots of pigmentation!
MAHALO Red My Lips Tint
I fell in love with the Red My Lips Tint from Mahalo earlier this year not only because of the wonderful campaign that helps empower victims of sexual violence and assault, but also because this stunning red lip tint is super pigmented, beautiful (and organically) formulated, and comes in a stunning bamboo tin that slides open to reveal a mirror on one side and stunning red lip color on the other. It lasts AGES because you only need the smallest amount to red your lips in a bold way and is huge conversation starter because of the packaging and classic red color.
