Gressa Skincare Review

Gressa Skincare Review

I was sent some small samples of a few products from the Gressa Skin line and I completely forgot about posting a review until now so sorry about that! The samples were quite small (less than 1/2 oz. each product probably) so keep that in mind as I wasn’t able to use these for an extended period of time like I normally would when reviewing skincare. That said, I love Gressa products and have basically never had a bad experience with them so there’s that as well. If you’re unfamiliar with Gressa Skin, check out my post for their corrective serum foundation for more information and my HG liquid foundation. You can also see my post on minimalist glamour to see a makeup look I created using their full line of skincare-enriched color cosmetics.

  • Balancing Cleanser – This cleanser is super gentle and nourishing to skin; it’s a brilliant oil cleanser for anyone with acne prone skin, oily skin or a tendency towards clogged pores. For me, I deal with combination skin that can get clogged if I use oils that are too heavy, but also looks dull at times. This one is amazing for hydrating and cleansing temperamental skin without drying it out. Also, I find the herbal scent very relaxing at the end of a long day! Ingredients*Jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis) oil, *Extra Virgin Olive (Olea europaea) Oil, *Castor (Ricinus communis) Oil,*Pumpkin (Cucurbita pepo L.) Seed Oil, *Camelina (Camelina sativa) Oil, *Rosehip(Rosa rubiginosa) Oil, Coconut Derived Esters, *Lavender (lavandula angustifolia), *Geranium (Pelargonium graveolens) Essential Oil, *Roman Chammomile (anthemis nobilis) Flower.*CERTIFIED ORGANIC
  • Purifying Mist – My love affair with this face mist was super short-lived because the tiny sample I had of it stopped spitting out mist so I think the pump broke or something. That said, the scent is subtle rose which I enjoyed and found very calming while the mist itself is very soothing to skin. It’s another one that would be great for all skin types as the ingredients are super gentle and basic using only pure organic rose water. Ingredients: *Rose Petal (Rosa damascena) Distillate,
*Certified Organic.
  • Purifying Face Oil – This last one was my favorite of the set because you only need a few drops to get the benefits from this one. The face oil is super nourishing to skin, but also tones and balances skin at the same time. It sinks in right away, smells amazing, and helps clear breakouts when you use it as an overnight treatment on it’s own. I love it’s ability to calm redness and make my pores feel more clear. It’s also wonderful to use as a primer if you happen to use the Gressa Serum Foundation and have acne prone or troubled skin. Ingredients*Simmondsia chinensis (jojoba) oil, *Rosehip Seed (Rosa rubiginosa) Oil, *Macadamia (Macadamia integrifolia) Nut Oil, Grapeseed (Vitis vinifera) Oil, *Raw Sesame (Sesamum indicum) Oil, Red Rapberry Oil, Cranberry Oil,Vaccinium Macrocarpon (Cranberry) Seed Oil, Rubus Idaeus (Raspberry) Seed Oil, Proprietary oil blends of Flower, *Roman Chamomile (anthemis nobilis) Flower, *Calendula (Calendula officinali) Flower, *Helichrysum (Helichrysum italicum) Flower. *CERTIFIED ORGANIC

They’re a seriously fantastic brand. I’m forever obsessed with the foundation, but the skincare was surprisingly effective as well. thanks for visiting 🙂
