Eco Chic Holiday Gifts

I’ve done tons of gift guides over the years, but this year I wanted to do a green gift guide that’s more focused on a selection of gift ideas that are eco-friendly, sustainable, and ethically made. I also wanted the guide to focus on brands which I have researched, am familiar with, and stand behind in terms of manufacturing, business ethics, materials used, sustainability, and the safety of each item on the list. I also wanted to include a sense of overall wellness with these gifts so that you can really feel like the gifts you give will not only be enjoyed, but can also help improve that person’s health and happiness. I’ve come up with a selection of various gift items so that there’s something for everyone on your list so I hope you enjoy ♥

Green Lifestyle Gifts ♥

  • Tea, Honey and Candle Set // All my favorite things in the same place 🙂 I absolutely love tea with honey during the winter and I’ve been burning candles since September. This would make a lovely gift for anyone who loved tea and good conversation.
  • Skin Cleanse Book // This book, written by S.W. Basics founder, is one I’ve been wanting to read for ages and I think anyone who is passionate about green beauty would love it.
  • Organic Flowers // Who doesn’t want flowers as a gift? They brighten up any room and organic flowers shine the brightest, in my opinion!
  • Organic Matcha Tea Set // I have a matcha tea set very similar to this one and it’s a great gift for anyone who loves tea and is interested in tea ceremony.
  • Ochre Autumn Wood Wick Candle // Wood wick candles burn a lot cleaner than your typical wicks which makes them friendlier on the environment. This candle is scented with tons of lovely autumn notes for a unique fall candle anyone would love!
  • Mini Terrarium Necklace Kit // Isn’t this mini terrarium kit adorable?! I love that you could carry a plant around with you, if you wanted to. I think it would be so cute to hang in your bedroom or bathroom if you prefer not to wear it as well.
  • Clean Eats Book // This book is great if you are looking into clean eating, healthy cooking for overall wellness and beauty.
  • Blooming Briquettes // These charcoal-looking briquettes are actually little seed pods you can plant easily into pots! The perfect stocking stuffer for anyone looking to start their own garden.
  • S’well Bottle // I talked about my love for s’well bottles already so you should know they’re my favorite, but just to reiterate; s’well bottles are amazing, sales help bring countries clean water, and the bottles are both stunning and effective at keeping water hot for 12 hours and cold for 24.
  • Ceramic Travel Mug // This gorgeous ceramic travel mug is perfect for the person who is always on the go and never leaves home without their coffee or tea. It’s way more eco-friendly than a million paper cups and you can take it to any coffee shop and just ask them to put your drink in it.

Green Stocking Stuffers ♥

  • Solar Powered Waving Pug // This adorable pug waves at you and is 100% solar powered! Put him in a window and he’s right there to perk up anyone’s day who passes by.
  • Windowsill Herb Garden // Windowsill gardens are great ways to grow herbs and they are farly easy to care for as well!
  • Olivine Love + Salt Spray // I am obsessed with Olivine’s Love + Salt Spray because it’s wonderful for so many things including giving your hair texture, hydrating skin, and it smells AMAZING! Also, this stuff is surprisingly cheap for how well it works.
  • Tatcha Oil Blotting Papers // Tatcha Skincare is one of my favorite luxury green beauty brands for a reason; their products always feel like an incredible treat to indulge in. Even these blotting papers seem like a kind of old-world luxury and they work really well at absorbing oil all while looking pretty in my bag!
  • Eco Wooden Spoons // These spoons are the perfect eco-friendly kitchenware for anyone who enjoys cooking – I love the unique leaf designs!

Green Beauty Gifts ♥

  • Tata Harper Glow on Demand Gift Set // Tata Harper is one of the more luxurious green beauty brands out there and with good reason. It seems like nearly half her line are the recipients of beauty awards and having tried a few samples (that I purchased myself) from the line recently, I can honestly say these are impressive! This set includes their Regenerating and Purifying Cleansers alongside their Resurfacing Mask, Hydrating Foral Essence, and Volumizing Lip & Cheek Tint in Very Naughty.
  • Odacite An Autumn on the World Serum // I’ve never tried Odacité before, but the serums from their private collection are so widely coveted by green beauty bloggers that I’m dying to get my hands on one! This particular serum includes a variety of ingredients to encourage collagen production and boost brightness and even tone.
  • Green Beauty Recipes Book // This is a great book to gift anyone who is looking to make their own beauty products! These homemade recipes are easy and fun to formulate with ingredients in your kitchen.
  • JINSOON Chinoiserie Nail Set // JINSOON is a nail brand I’ve been wanting to try for ages and this is the perfect chance! Gift sets like this offer great value and give you the chance to try multiple colors at a discount. If it’s for someone else, this set offers the chance to try a kinder nail polish with stylish colors!
  • Omorovicza Holiday Introductory Set // Omorovicza was one of the first green beauty brands I ever tried and their products take luxury to the next level. They’re incredibly gentle and I think their products are very well suited to more mature skin or even dry, sensitive skin types who want something a little more fancy than just a sensitive skin cream.
  • Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum // The Active Botanical Serum is one of the best face serums I’ve tried that does it all – evens tone, pigmentation, acne, hydration, fine lines, etc. It’s so well made and incredibly pricey (just below $200), but it absolutely works.
  • Alima Pure Eye to Eye Set // I’m a huge fan of Alima Pure products. They’re my favorite when it comes to mineral makeup and their eye shadows, mineral face powder foundation, and eyeliners are my top picks. Their eyeliners, in particular, are pigmented, creamy, and long lasting.
  • You Are So Loved Detox Market Gift Card // The Detox Market is one of my favorite shops for green beauty because they carry most of the brands I know and love. Offering a gift card to someone on your list who loves green beauty is perfect , especially if you have no idea what they would want.
  • Tatcha Special Introduction Set // Tatcha is a wonderful gift to give anyone because their products are not only effective and well-formulated, but they’re also really beautiful. They look incredibly luxurious so anyone you give them to is sure to be IMPRESSED.

This is such a lovely idea – I really think we need to consider more carefully exactly where our gifts are coming from, and what kind of ecological impact they are having!

Thanks Stephanie – glad you like my guide 🙂 I definitely think that’s so true and I think, for me, I’m finding it harder to just purchase whatever for people and not think about my impact. It’s something that I’m very conscious of now, whereas before I really wasn’t. Not just ecologically, but also ethically, socially, and how my purchases can affect someone else.
