Gorgeous Natural Spring Makeup
SANTE Cosmetics Review
SANTE Cosmetics is a lovely natural cosmetics brand made by Logocos of Germany, the same manufacturer that makes beloved Logona products. This brand specializes in mainly natural color cosmetics, hair color, and nail polishes and are all naturally formulated. Some are organically grown and most of them are made in Germany. Their line is pretty extensive as far as color cosmetics are concerned with liquid foundations, face powders, eye shadow trio palette, eyeliners, eye crayons, lipsticks and lip glosses, mascaras, nail polishes, and a line of hair color. Many of them are vegan, organically grown, and/or gluten free and they have pages on their site listing which are which so if that’s important to you, they have the products clearly listed. I really appreciate the transparency.
The natural pressed powder has an awesome, silky smooth consistency and goes on without caking. I enjoy using this to set liquid foundation or alone to even out skin tone and calm any redness around my nose. The green eyeshadow trio is a beautiful, neutral eye shadow palette that’s ideal for spring. It’s very earthy with the green/brown tones. The two lipsticks I tried out are in No.5 (the reddish color) and No. 11 (a pinky beige color) and the gloss is in a peachy pink color that goes on sheer. The lipsticks are very smooth in consistency and super pigmented. They last quite a long time and are beautiful colors. My favorite of the lip colors is definitely the No.5 lipstick as it is the perfect shade of marsala for those who want to wear this color and stick to more natural cosmetics.
The eye shadow sticks were lovely to use, though not very long lasting. They were super pigmented to use, but super creamy so I recommend setting them with a powder if you are looking for long wearing color. The lipsticks, on the other hand, last a good amount of time without setting or too much layering over. The eye shadows in the trio palette are pigmented, but extremely light and pretty for spring. They could easily be worn during the day and later smoked out for evening looks so I enjoyed the versatility of that. Last of all, the Perfect Definition Mascara in Black worked very well, though nothing that really stood out to me.
A Makeup Look I Created Using These Products:
- SANTE Eyeshadow Trio No.4
- SANTE Lipstick No.5
- SANTE Perfect Definition Mascara in Black
- SANTE Eyeshadow Stick No.5
- Kjaer Weis Cream Foundation in Like Porcelain
- Hourglass Cosmetics Ambient Lighting Blush in Incadescent Electra
- Hourglass Cosmetics Arch Brow Pencil in Dark Brunette
- Illamasqua Cream Pigment in Hollow (contour)
Overall, I really enjoyed trying out these products. My favorites were definitely the Lipstick No. 5 and the pressed face powder. One thing I love is the broad selection of products available and the transparency of what is and isn’t vegan, gluten free, or organically grown. I really appreciate when a company is honest and forthright so that’s definitely something to be respected. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the fact that some products use talc in the formula which is known to clog pores. If they could get rid of the talc in products, I think I’d be pretty happy 🙂
