The Gabriel Cosmetics Story

Founded in 1992 by Gabriel de Santino, Gabriel Cosmetics spawned from a lifelong curiosity with the magic of the sea and homeopathic remedies. Growing up off the coast of Mexico, Gabriel was enthralled by his grandmother’s homeopathic practices and teachings as a child and knew it was his calling to develop healthy beauty alternatives. This led to the development of several beauty lines within Gabriel Cosmetics: Zuzu Luxe, Gabriel Cosmetics Sea Skincare line, and Clean Kid Natural line. Many products are not only sustainable, but also vegan, gluten free, cruelty free, and made with 100% natural plant ingredients. They are based in Seattle, Washington.

^ Utilizing the Zuzu Luxe Liquid Liner.

Overall, I’m seriously impressed with these products. The Zuzu Luxe Liquid Liner was my favorite of the two because it is truly as good, if not better, than a mainstream liquid eyeliner which is a hard thing to come by. The liner is so pigmented and achieves the blacker than black liner we all covet. The Beach Beauty Eye Shadow Palette was also lovely; the pink, mauve, and taupe colors are beautiful for summer, but as far as instant loves, the liner was the product I found myself continuously reaching for and it’s more of an everyday kind of makeup item. Aside from the product effectiveness, I love that there’s a brand that truly competes with mainstream products without the use of animal ingredients and utilizing more body-safe natural ones. I’ll definitely be picking up more products from this brand in the future!
