Fitspo Wellness Wednesday // Early Morning Workouts
Early morning workouts are such a difficult aspect of fitness to tackle, aren’t they? I know they’ve been one of the hardest bits for me, anyway. The small period that I did succeed at this was beginning of last year when I took to sleeping in my workout clothes every night ( clean ones – no shoes ) and then rising at the early (or late depending on who you are) hour of 4 AM. I did this for nearly a month and was on a great routine of working out. My point of drop-off was when my boyfriend proclaimed that I was “obsessed” with working out because I occasionally wanted to pull in 2-a-days. This led me to back off in my pursuits a little (my mistake) and then I fell completely apart with my AM workout efforts and haven’t been the same since. It’s so easy for us to just sleep in a few more minutes (or hours) and miss our morning workouts altogether, but this spring, I am DETERMINED to get this one down. So, that’s today’s theme, ya’ll: early morning workouts, breakfast and all that jazz. By hell or high water, WE CAN DO THIS!
