Fall Fashion Trends I’m Actually Excited About

Last Modified: September 18, 2014 at 4:25 pm by Tianna | Leave a comment

As you might know if you’ve been following my blog awhile, I’m not much into fashion trends. Sometimes I follow them, sometimes I don’t. Most of the time, I just improvise and do what I want, but I wanted to share some of the fall fashion trends that I actually really like and am excited about because they’re really lovely, especially this first one 😉

Fairy Tale Fashion – Oh my goodness! My fashion fantasies are finally coming true! The runways had all kinds of romance going on at NYFW (or so google tells me LOL) and many shows featured beautiful soft, flowy pieces with lace and chiffon. Total fairy tale stuff, right?

Velvet – Uhm, hello! (I am aware that I sound a little Cher ) I’ve been going on and on about velvet since I started this blog and now it’s finally appropriate to rock my velvet leggings. You know, the ones I’ve been rocking since forever. Now all I need are velvet shoes, coats, dresses, and a cape and I’ll be set.

Dior Palette / Burberry Nail Lacquer / Burberry Lipstick / Navy Dress / Stripe Sweater

Navy Satchel / Oxblood Satchel / Oxblood Heels / Oxblood Trousers / Navy Booties

Oxblood + Navy – Is this the most beautiful color combination ever or what? I’m probably really behind on this one as I’m sure this is “so last season,” but whatever. I really don’t care. This is PRETTY 🙂

Navy + Stripe Sweater / Gray Asymmetrical Sweater / Turtleneck Pullover / Waffle Knit Crop Sweater / Alpaca Jumper

Knitwear – Last but not least is knitwear. I love knitwear any time I can get away with it, to be honest. It’s just so comfortable. Living in California, that’s obviously not realistic most days of the year, but it’s possible in fall and winter and this season has brought tons of new innovative styles of knits, including knit skirts which I can totally get behind!

I’m mostly just excited for fall fashion in general (but not at all about cold weather)! Trying to resist the urge to buy new boots.

I’d love the oxblood handbag! We are just coming out of winter here in Australia, this has me thinking about autumn next year already!
