So I discovered this line of color haircare products from Christophe Robin on Beautyhabit yesterday.
I am now a huge fan of Christophe Robin hair care after trying out samples of his Lavender Oil and Cleansing Mask with Lemon (see my reviews on them – here ) which both sound like they might dry your hair out, but do anything but that. They actually hydrate, soften, eliminate frizz (no, I mean they actually eliminate it even if you go to sleep with wet hair like me), and overall make your hair healthier and prettier. So, since I have pretty much been sold on the haircare line by Christophe Robin, I decided to browse his other line of color hair care and I didn’t even realize what it was (until I realized what it was) and then I was like SAY WHAT?! because the concept is that brilliant.
It’s especially of interest to me now, when we’re transitioning to fall because I’ve been wanting to color my hair, but have felt hesitant as I don’t want to damage it. I used to color my hair all the time in high school and it took a toll. I’ve actually been really good and haven’t colored my hair since January and I’ve seen a big difference in my hair’s condition. That being said, these nourishing hair masks by Christophe Robin are indeed color hair care, but maybe not in the way you would think.
They’re all nourishing hair masks in a creamy formula, but they utilizes natural ingredients and pigments as well to enhance your natural hair color and give it more of a dynamic as well as disguise any gray hairs by altering them so they appear as highlights instead of the dreaded grey. They have a variety of these masks for all the basic hair colors: Golden Blond, Baby Blond, Chic Red, Warm Chestnut, and Ash Brown. All of these use different natural ingredients to color correct, naturally highlight and lighten, nourish and soften, and leave your hair looking better than before. You can leave the mask on for as long as you like and it only intensifies the depth of the color effects.
So, I really love the idea of these color care hair masks that nourish and give your natural hair color more life and dimension using all natural ingredients and pigments, but I’m not sure which I’d like to try most. At the moment, my hair is a light auburn brown so I could really go any direction except blond from, but I can’t decided between Warm Chestnut or Chic Red. They both sound lovely and fun for the fall!
