Disappointing and Drying: Korres Quercetin Oak Anti-Aging Concealer Review

Korres - Quercetin & Oak Antiageing & Antiwrinkle Concealer

I purchased this concealer awhile ago from Sephora (You can see the original post I did – here) and I meant to review it, but I’ve been super busy and just haven’t gotten around to it until now.

So, sorry for the long wait if you were waiting for the review, it’s finally arrived!

Anyway, I’ll just make this quite short and sweet.

I love Korres products, but I was so disappointed with this concealer. It’s really thick and pasty and quite difficult to blend. Aside from that, it actually sets into my barely existent fine lines and makes my whole eye area look dry. Gross. Plus, when I do wear it, it causes small dot mini breakouts under my eyes.

It works decently enough on spots, but does nothing to treat them and I know it’s not a blemish concealer, but I guess I was just disappointed it doesn’t seem to have healing capabilities despite the natural ingredients.

I actually feel pretty ripped off given this one cost me $22 and really hasn’t delivered. I prefer my original favorite – the Neutrogena Healthy Skin Concealer I reviewed ages ago. It’s more hydrating, gentle, brightening, creamy, easily blendable and cheaper. While the ingredients aren’t as great as what’s in the Korres, at least it’s more effective and doesn’t break my under eyes out.

As sad as it is, especially because I love Korres, this one just missed the mark for me. I think, maybe, if you have super normal skin, this could work for you. It might actually also be okay if you have oilier skin that doesn’t break out. Everyone else may want to steer clear.

You can find this concealer on Sephora for $22 – here.

Sad that Sephora doesn’t have an australian website and I don’t think they deliver to aus either.
