I was so fortunate to get the Best of Green Beauty 2015 limited edition box from The Detox Market recently. The box features their top picks for natural and organic skincare and makeup and I have been obsessed with all the products they included, some of which I hadn’t tried up until this point. The incredible thing about this box is that it includes products with a total value of more than $250, but the box is only $150!! Talk about a STEAL!! It’s a great chance to try some products that both beauty editors and bloggers alike seriously rave about and if you don’t want to #treatyoself, then there’s still time to put it on your Christmas wish list and hope someone you love buys it for you just in time for the holidays 😉

This cream smells lovely and it’s super light on the skin. You only need 1-2 pumps for your entire face and neck so I can see this lasting me quite awhile. On top of that, it blends perfectly with face oils if you need a little extra TLC and hydration so it’s wonderful to use seamlessly with your other products. So, what makes this moisturizer special? The unique blend of plant-based ingredients includes organic aloe, tea extracts, coconut oil, jojoba oil, and olive oil which work alongside DMAE and MSM to heal, hydrate, soothe, and stimulate collagen production while fighting off free radicals caused by the environment (think: pollution, the sun, etc. that can do a number on your skin!).
This is definitely making my list for favorite mascaras! As someone who has extremely sensitive, allergy-prone eyes, I can say with certainty that this mascara formula is incredibly gentle to use. There’s no eye-watering action that I normally get from most mascaras which is a huge win in my book! On top of that, the wand encourages tons of volume, lift and separation for lashes so you get this gorgeous false lashes kind of look, but they’re real. On top of that, the formula is very lightweight so it doesn’t feel heavy, cakey or weigh my lashes down. Moreover, the formula is clean and green and includes soothing and hydrating plant oils and waxes.
These lip balms are incredibly nourishing to lips, but also surprisingly light. They don’t leave a film or nasty taste either. Instead, they’re pleasantly flavored and protect lips without feeling like too much. They’re also raw, vegan and gluten-free, including only pure plant oils, waxes, and organic flavor.
I had previously tried the LL and use it all the time (as you’ll see on my instagram), but ironically, I had just run out of mine. This creates the most flawless, beautiful glow on your skin and you don’t have to be an expert to use it. You can be totally liberal with this highlighting cream and it never looks like too much. Your skin will look radiant and glowing with very little effort. You will LOVE it, especially if you happen to be someone like me who hates overly shiny, shimmery or glittery highlighting products. THIS ISN’T LIKE THAT. Instead, the simple organic formula includes a subtle glowing cream that adds the perfect highlight to your skin from your cheekbones, inner corner of eyes, brow bones, and cupid’s bow.
I’ve been dying to try this dry shampoo for ages and ages, but I somehow kept forgetting about it and so hadn’t tried it yet. Man, had I been missing out!! It’s in my top 3 favorite dry shampoos now. I am wearing it as I right this. It smells AMAZING. It smells like a tropical paradise. On top of that, it’s one of the few white powder dry shampoos that doesn’t leave a white cast on my scalp and absorbs pretty easily. On top of that, it’s one of the very few dry shampoos that doesn’t irritate my scalp or make it itch which I count as a huge win because there’s only one other dry shampoo which meets that bill (the TJK Dry Shampoo). This one also has some incredible ingredients in the formula which help heal, soften, strengthen and nourish your hair between shampoos including hyaluronic acid, silica-rich bamboo extract, and kaolin clay absorbs excess oil without irritating your scalp.
Last, but not least is this Beauty Elixir II from KYPRIS that I previously reviewed back in January. This particular formula is ideal for irritated, acne prone skin types and includes 24 active natural ingredients including jasmine, patchouli, rose and sweet lavender. The scent of this face treatment is quite lovely and I think it’s thanks to these essential oils. On top of the lovely natural oils and extracts, the formula includes CoQ10, vitamins C and E, baobab oil, and licorice which all work to hydrate, heal, brighten and even skin tone, and encourage collagen production. I really love how this treatment helps to lighten old acne scars and spots while also improving the brightness and clarity in my skin. It’s a solid skin treatment to have in any beauty routine and if you have a more dry skin type, try one of the other elixirs from KYPRIS because they are all amazing.
You can find this amazing limited edition Best of Green Beauty Box 2015 at The Detox Market, but it’s only for a limited time so hurry and get it while you still can!
