As much as I love Halloween, dressing up and preparing everything for an elaborate costume can be really time consuming. I know I’m the type of person who enjoys spending a lot of time, thought and effort on my costume, but not everyone does and that’s fine because I’ve come up with some fun and unique Halloween costume ideas for those of you who want to dress up and enjoy Halloween without all the extra effort and fuss.

Gothic Girl

  • Illamasqua Nail Polish
  • Black Heels – Sold Out.
  • Burgundy Socks – Sold Out.
  • Chanel Eyeshadow Quad – Sold Out.
  • Skull Bracelet – Sold Out.
  • MAC Lipstick – Sold Out.
  • Illamasqua Lipstick – Sold Out.
  • Spiked Ear Cuff – Sold Out.
  • Ivory Clutch – Sold Out.
  • Black Dress – Sold Out.
  • Eye Kajal Kohl Liner
  • Dramatic False Lashes – Sold Out.
  • Illamasqua Eyeshadow Quad
  • 3 Rings Set – Sold Out.

I think pretty much anyone with a black dress and purple eye shadow could pull off this DIY look. It’s super simple and you can customize it based on what you already have in your closet.

Alisha from E4 Misfits

  • Blue Tank – Sold Out.
  • Wedge Sneakers – Sold Out.
  • Bangles Set
  • Black Shoulder Bag – Sold Out.
  • Sunglasses – Sold Out.
  • British Flag Sweater
  • Overalls – Sold Out.
  • Brit Flag Tank – Sold Out.

If you’re a fan of E4’s Misfits TV show, you’ll know who Alisha is, but if not, you must watch misfits now! Basically, Alisha is one of the main characters on series/season 1-3. I love her because she has so much sass and attitude about her. She has a fun sense of style that’s both cute and fun and all you need to DIY a costume for Alisha are a pair of overalls, a racer back tank top, sneakers and hoop earrings. I have another set for Alisha if you want more inspiration – here.

American Horror Story: Coven Witches

If you haven’t yet seen AHS: Coven on FX, where have you been?! Living under a rock?! No, but seriously, the show is awesome and features a brilliant cast who play a bunch of witches in New Orleans! Literally all you need to pull this DIY costume look off is a black dress, black sunglasses, and heels.

I LOVE Misfits….I was actually considering going as Kelly, who is my fav character, but I’d need an orange jumpsuit (and possibly someone else going as one of the other characters) for folks to understand who I’d be.

ME TOO! Have you seen series 5 yet? Yeah you can find them online, but it’s cheaper to buy plain orange jumpsuit and customize it yourself. Lol. I don’t care I think I’d do it anyway!! I’m just nerdy like that though haha. I live in US and nobody would know what/who I was.
