Beauty Lust List: Summer Edition

As I haven’t done a lust list for Summer yet, I thought now was as good a time as any so here are some of the things I’ve been lusting after for the summer season!

This Kona Coffee & Sugar Body Scrub from Pacifica looks amazing! I’m really obsessed with using scrubs in the summertime and I enjoy trying new ones. I’ve never tried a coffee grain scrub before and since Pacifica sell really natural products, I thought it was a good place to start. Or perhaps I should DIY one? Let me know in the comments if you want a DIY tutorial on coffee scrub and I’ll look into it! ;-)

Free from artificial ingredients and animal testing, this Mandarin and Sicilian Bergamot Bath Oil looks lovely, not only because of it’s ethics, but also because the ingredients that are included in it’s formula are meant to help hydrate, calm, soothe and soften the skin. I love a good bath oil that smells nice as well and this one promises to enliven and revitalize your body and mind – not bad right?

I have tried many of the Juice Beauty products, but this is one that I actually haven’t tried yet. This Antioxidant Serum is filled with beneficial ingredients, including an organic juice base and loads of other anti-aging extracts and plant oils. All of the Juice Beauty products almost always smell incredible as well so I look forward to picking this one up soon!

love Steamcreams! They are made in a base of oatmeal infusion and include various other hydrating oils, extracts and plant waters to nourish, hydrate and calm the skin. These little tins of cream are AMAZING! When I first tried one out, I was fully expecting it to be just a cream, but it’s seriously so much more than that! The Steamcreams come in a variety of themed tins and they really are a sort of all-in-one cream. I know a lot of creams will claim to be all-in-one ( right before they break your face out in hives or acne ), but I promise this is one cream that actually can be used anywhere from your body to, yes, your face without worry. Plus, the tin has a screw on lid so it’s not one of those push tin tops that suctions on like the jaws of life so you never want to bother trying to wrench it open. The screw on lid makes opening and closing this a cinch and you can safely throw it in your bag without a care – it will not spill!

I really am yearning for this very expensive, but raved about Queen of Hungary Face Mist from Omorovicza. It’s said to smell of roses, in a good way, and they utilize the Hungarian thermal mineral water that their brand is known for in order to calm, soothe and hydrate skin. Plus, toners like this are always fun to use in the Summer to cool off.

I’ve never tried Ginger+Liz nail polishes before, but the colors they offer look promising and they’re free of all the nasty toxic ingredients (yay!) so we can use them without worrying about death and destruction. I love this teal blue color – it just seems perfect for the beach!

Pacifica has these incredible affordable value sets and this is one that I keep eyeing every single time I walk into Target’s natural beauty section! It includes their Sea Foam Face Wash, Mineral BB Cream, Dreamy Youth Day & Night Cream and a Color Quench Lip Tint in Guava Berry. MUST HAVE IT!

You hear me harp on and on about the Antonia Burrell products and it’s with good reason because they truly work! Well, lucky (not so lucky for my wallet!) for me, they’ve come out with a new product recently. Their Luminous Light Polishing Powder includes a variety of ingredients to help calm breakouts, clean out pores, reduce inflammation (aka redness), balance oil production and the pH level of your skin, and of course, gently buff, polish and exfoliate skin of dead skin cells.

I’m pretty obsessed with using after-sun type gels and balms during the summer because I do tend to experience redness and sometimes a little burn, especially on my cheeks and I’d like to avoid the aging that comes with that! Fortunately for me, this Liz Earle After-Sun Gel includes many beneficial botanical extracts to hydrate, calm and heal.

For some weird reason, I have been obsessed with the idea of using exotic oral hygiene products like Marvis. Maybe it’s the old fashioned luxury chic that Marvis packaging presents, maybe not, but whatever it is, I feel pretty enthralled with the idea! Their minty mouthwash sounds and looks delightful, no? I love the classy bottle it’s in! Maybe picking up some of these Marvis products will actually get me more enthusiastic about tooth maintenance LOL .

I’ve never tried Lipstick Queen before, but UK bloggers seem to really love this brand which is why it’s been in my sights for awhile. The packaging is really cute and simple, but the colors are what look really promising. Although the above color is in Hang Ten, I’m more interested in their coral pink shade for summer which is called Stoked.

I’ve been wanting to get my hands on one of these Beach Tints from Becca for ages and now more than ever because summer glowing makeup is all the rage, of course. This natural pink shade looks like it would be lovely on all skin tones which is why I think it’d be a universal one to have in my makeup bag.

I recently saw Vivianna Does Makeup rave about these By Terry Ombre Blackstar cream eyeshadow sticks on YouTube and have been enamored with them ever since! They have some smoldering smokey eye colors, of course, but I’m more interested in some of the lighter creamy colors they have available in teal green and blue (Fizzy Jade specifically) and the gold one called Beyond Gold.

I really love the old fashioned feel and make of the i profumi di firenze line of fragrances! They make them with all natural essential oils in small batches straight from Italy so they’re quite uniquely crafted. I have tried a few of these and really love the Plenilunio one. This one sounds promising for summer nights – it’s a mix of coconut, frankincense, blood orange and frangipani which seems very mysteriously Italian and lovely!

Coupled with naturally sun protecting ingredients and zinc oxide, this sun butter from ISUN offers hydration and protection from damaging UV rays. I really like the idea of a hydrating sunscreen and this certainly fits the bill as I consistently find that many sun protecting creams and sprays are drying to the skin and often leave them feeling pasty or chalky. This one seems really promising as an all-in-one sun protectant and body butter!

Another polish from Ginger+Liz toxin free line of nail lacquers, this one is a lovely mixture of golden glitters which seems to have a bit of purple in as well. I love the orangey bronze gold color and lately, I’m pretty into accent nails using glitter polish.

That’s it for my Beauty Lust List for Summer!

So, I have the sea foam wash and bb mineral cream by Pacifica, can’t say it is my favorite.
I need to check out the tin one!!
I’m looking for donations for a non profit that provides healing through art nationwide for survivors of domestic abuse & sexual assault…A Window Between , Worlds for an August retreat for 20 women. Pacifica had donated for me in the past, but can’t this year. I’m in love love love with the soy candles. Gotta check out the stream creams…that was a side note, haha.

I’m in love right now with Derma-E…wasn’t it your recommendation? And, for a spot treatment, mario badescu…i might have to return to tabula rasa by arcona, we will see :-)

that’s a bust! They look so nice. SteamCream is AMAZING. Definitely recommend them! good to know the candles are nice! Derma E is okay, not my recommendation though no. Their products work well enough, but they can be a bit drying to the skin. Hope you come back to Twitter soon! ♥
