Aurelia Miracle Skin Cleanser

{ This cleanser was provided to me by Aurelia Skincare for review }

I’m super excited to share the latest face cleanser I’ve been testing out by Aurelia Skincare!

The Miracle Cleanser, as they call it, is definitely one to obsess over!

First off, Aurelia Skincare offer a number of skincare products which all focus on offering natural healing to the skin.

They seek to achieve this by utilizing natural Bio-Organic plant essences and oils in their product formulations as well as their own unique probiotic technology which helps balance stressed skin in order to allow your skin to reap the most benefits from these valuable natural ingredients.

It’s all very high tech and complicated, but the idea is that your skin can be damaged over time by stress, inflammation, and other factors caused by diet, the environment, etc. and which can cause skin issues such as premature aging, acne, and redness and the technology combined with the ingredients in the Aurelia Skincare products seek to correct and heal these issues in order to bring new life to your skin.

Utilizing a number of plant oils and essences including coconut oil, shea butter, chamomile, eucalyptus, rosemary, and bergamot, this super creamy cleanser is very softening, hydrating, and healing. It feels a lot like a cross between using Pond’s cold cream and the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish because it feels super creamy and lotion-like, but it’s quite cleansing and has a similar scent to the Cleanse & Polish.

What I really love about this cleanser is the fact that when I use it with my clarisonic, it leaves my skin super soft, calm and hydrated.

The Liz Earle sometimes made my skin a bit dry, but this does not at all. I also really enjoyed using the muslin cloth they sent with this cleanser as well because it also gives the skin that smooth, soft feel while still gently exfoliating.

It seems like it would be a great way for sensitive skin to exfoliate without causing irritation.

Last of all, I’ve been using this quite regularly and I have experienced very little to no breakouts at all in the entire time which seriously impresses me, especially given that this cleanser is so thick and creamy so I highly recommend this cleanser as one that any skin type can try comfortably.

Check out this cleanser – Here.

Have You tried Aurelia Skincare?

Any thoughts on probiotics being utilized in skincare?

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this!

So many awesome brands that aren’t in Canada! Probiotics are delicious haha, this product sounds awesome! I swear, one day I will hoard on everything when I travel to the states again!

First, I want to say that I read your blog and enjoy the daily emails. I have hyper sensitive skin, and have been looking for the “right” product since I switched from Arcona after my decade of loyalty. I switched to Exuviance, but I’m not completely happy. I tried some cheap moisturizer from Target, but I am still on the hunt, :-)…live enzymes, probiotics, etc…all are great to a certain point. Some times the more pure and raw, the harsher it is. I must say that Japanese products are great. I tried Haba, have you tried that one? I’m gonna see if i can get a sample of this one you speak so highly of. I will let you know what I think. Thanks for listening to me babble :-)…like you had a choice, right, haha. Keep on blogging!

Hi there! Thanks so much for commenting 🙂 If you have hyper sensitive skin, I highly recommend the Suti Cleanse Organic Balm or even Antonia Burrell’s Natural Glow Cleansing Oil. If you want a less expensive option, there’s also the Living Nature Nourishing Cleanser which is super gentle and softening and less heavy on essential oils than most natural options which I know can be an issue for those with sensitive skin. If you want a nice drugstore option, Botanics by Boots have some good options, though I haven’t tried them personally ( I’m testing out a redness serum from them right now and it’s quite nice! ). Their stuff is all natural and super affordably priced at $20 or less prices. I have tried HABA and I really like some of their products, but I wish they were more natural and used a plant based squalane ( theirs is produced from shark liver ). Japanese products are really awesome and if you prefer a Asian brands, Naruko is a Taiwanese brand that I really love though I don’t know what they have specifically for sensitive skin. Hope this helps and no worries, everyone needs a good babble sometime – after all, that’s why I have a blog haha <3

Wow! Thanks. I think right now I’m gonna try pacifica sea foam face wash, still not sure about the moisturizer though. I have super dry skin from the pain meds I take daily. My Amazon cart is ready 🙂 , I have a gift card…any suggestions for good day/night moisturizers? Also, what is your theory on mix and match different things?

        1. April 24, 2013 at 6:18 PM

No problem 🙂 Oo I love Pacifica! They have lovely body lotions with bronze in them that smell incredible for summer ! For face, since you have dry sensitive skin, an amazing one that I really love lately is the First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream – a small tube is only $12 and will def. last you! OOO! Also, I forgot to mention, another great face wash for sensitive skin is the Fresh Skincare Soy Face Cleanser. It’s light and smells like cucumber – super gentle and a small tube is only $15 and lasts FOREVER. Just a thought! Also, I would say mixing and matching doesn’t much matter unless you’re trying to treat something. For acne, I have seen good results when using an entire line, but then I’ve also had good results when mixing. It really depends on the specific products. I think it’s more important to not mix too many strong ingredients together because that’s what will cause reactions in your skin. For instance, you dont want to use a vitamin C product with retinol products and then glycolic acid. It is a recipe for disaster. You have to pick like 1 active to use which works best for your skin and then the rest should be gentle ingredients otherwise your skin will freak out because you end up over exfoliating and causing massive irritation. Other than that, I’d say experimenting with different products from different brands doesn’t matter and shouldn’t hurt you – Good luck and let me know how it goes for you! xx

I know I feel like that a lot when I see beauty reviews. I’m like -sigh- so much to try out, so little time! Haha . xx
