The Science Behind La Potion Infinie:

La Potion Infinie utilizes a number of ingredients in it’s patent pending formula, but the most notable ones are the an infusion of silver hydrosol and DNA HP, a natural marine sourced ingredient based on Nobel prize winning scientific research. The cream is made in small batches to naturally smooth fine lines and wrinkles while improving the skin’s overall texture and appearance. Silver hydrosol lends anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial effects to the skin while fighting free radicals and promoting cell and tissue turnover and regeneration. A toxic radical called hydroxyl is known to cause the oxidation and degradation of elastin and collagen in the skin. DNA HP works to trap this radical and prevent it from negatively affecting the condition of your skin while also penetrating and improving the cell hydration levels up to 10,000 times it’s weight in water. It works differently than many other products which simply attempt to trap water in the skin rather than actual penetration of cells which La Potion Infinie claims to do.

La Potion Infinie is one of those truly luxe, but seriously expensive anti-aging creams that I never would have picked out for myself. The description of this product sounds promising, but it’s not something that would’ve convinced me to shell out $225. Now, that being said, I may actually want to start a savings account specifically for this incredible cream ♥

Here’s Why:

From the first moment I caught of whiff of the incredible floral (heavily rose, but in a good way – this is NOT old lady potpourri rose scent!) scent of this cream to actually trying it overnight, I knew I had discovered something amazing. This cream reminds me of something super luxurious, timeless and classic because it smells lovely, like roses and something I can’t put my finger on, and it’s also instantly softening, a bit tightening and firming sensation, hydrating (almost perfectly balanced skin), and calming to the skin. It feels like it might be too hydrating for the skin, but it’s also really light and absorbs within a minute or less. The mornings after using this, my skin was glowing, super soft, and it looked more plump, youthful, and overall more clear. This actually kind of does a number on fine lines. I don’t know whether that’s a permanent or temporary effect, but my skin certainly looked more fresh and youthful and fine lines seemed a lot less apparent. I can’t really say enough about how beautiful an experience using this cream was – it’s just something one should experience for themselves 😉

Nice review! Never tried this cream yet. Quite pricey. Also read a soso review about it not so ling ago, so not so sure to think about it. Need to investigate a bit more about the 2 “top” ingredients mentionned.

I have my own pot and it’s my true love. From reviews I have read saying so so mostly are dry or super dry skin type… however, as this cream moisturizes unlikely anothers. For those who appreciate “heavier/dewer” feel to ensure its hydrated may not be its fans. 🙂

yeah I think it’s fantastic. It does feel hydrating when first applied and then it kind of sinks right in and leaves skin fresh, but balanced.

It is really pricey, but I think it may actually be worth it. The cream is really versatile, smells incredible and is a great moisturizer. For the right person who just wants one cream – this is a great choice.

Your descriptions usually crack me up! I especially loved the “this is NOT old lady potpourri rose scent” line, HA! This sounds incredibly expensive for some cream but I suppose you’re paying for the quality and results. Sounds like it just might be worth it.

Haha glad to make you laugh, Nicole! It seriously smells nice, though. I am not a fan of the old lady rose smell, by any means LOL! It is definitely a strictly luxury level cream so you’d be paying a premium price, but it definitely delivers results so there’s that 🙂 thanks for stopping by! ♥
