Apartment Wish List!

So I’m really excited at the moment because, finally after renting rooms for so long, my boyfriend and I have decided to move into an apartment!

We plan on moving sometime this summer or early fall, but I’m pretty excited about it so I’ve created a Dream Apartment pinterest board (of course) so I can catalog all the things I could potentially buy to decorate my new apartment with and so I thought I’d share some of the particular items that made my apartment wish list, just in case you enjoy decorating or maybe you’re also planning a move soon!

Apartment Wish List!

Vanity Wardrobe }

As someone with a considerable amount of beauty and skincare stuff, I think it’s high time I had a vanity, but living where I am now, there truly is no room! I’m quite excited about finally having enough room to buy a vanity and I’m loving this one because it’s so multi-purpose; you have the vanity table in the center, the wardrobe on the right, and then more storage drawers on the left. It’s such a perfect place to get ready in the morning!

Extra Soar-age Shower Caddy }

I know we’ll need some kind of shower caddy and I saw this really adorable one on ModCloth – isn’t it cute?!

Heliotrope Dishware Set }

I’m a big fan of purple, of course, and I know we’ll need a dishware set, but I haven’t decided if I want to buy a set or mix and match my own. Either way, I need plates, bowls and mugs.

{ Wardrobe Rack }

I’ve been wanting a wardrobe rack for ages! I haven’t decided if I want this one (which is lovely) or if I want to DIY my own, but I definitely want one, if only for a place to set our clothes out for the day, you know?

{ Ombre Stacking Mugs }

I love ombre colors and these mugs are so cute! I think they would look really pretty just sitting on the counter top in the kitchen, to be honest.

{ Self-Watering Vertical Planter }

One of the big ideas I have for my balcony is vertical gardening! I really want to start growing my own greens, cucumbers, and maybe even some berries! I love that this planter is so space-saving because we will be living in an apartment, despite it being pretty nicely sized, and I would also like to fit a patio table and chairs on the balcony as well so I think this is a nice way to have some gardening without taking up too much valuable space.

Wooden Circle Wall Shelf }

I just love that this is a circle shelf that hangs on the wall. To be honest, the nerd in me thinks it looks like a Hobbit door, and that’s probably half the reason I really like it. Also, I’m really into using wall mounted storage and furniture to save space and minimize clutter as I tend to have a lot of clutter if I don’t put things away. Having storage that’s sort of up and away will help keep everything looking neat.

Fuji Blossom Rice Bowls }

I really love Asian style flatware and dishware. My favorite foods include Chinese, Korean and Japanese food so I do a lot of eating with chopsticks as well and I just really like the idea of eating small dishes like Koreans do. It’s a good way to pace yourself and enjoy the taste of things as opposed to having big dishes and eating tons of food and barely tasting any of it. Also, I love ceramic dishes and bowls and things. They look really artisan which I like and are a lot more eco friendly than plastic.

    Ooh I’m collecting stuff for my first house! In a few months I will be moving out of my parents house for the first time! It’s so exciting! I love that purple dining set 🙂

    Such cute ideas – I love garment racks, I wish I had room to keep some up instead of dismantling them until they’re needed.

      Thanks – glad you like them 😀 Me too! I really want to build my own with pipe so I can customize it
