I get a lot of questions from readers asking me what cleansers would work best for their skin type so I thought I would post a few of my favorites that will work for one or more skin types so there are multiple options to choose from. I tried to keep everything on the affordable side, though some are more pricey. I hope you enjoy!

ALL SKIN TYPES, EVEN SENSITIVE
This is a great one for all skin types! It’s super gentle, mildly exfoliating and non-irritating even for those with sensitive skin. You can even get these with different clays in them, if you like, depending on your skin type. Check those out here. This is a great cleansing tool + cleanser in one if you like to keep your routine simple, yet effective. Check out my review on this original sponge here!
Suti CLEANSE Organic Balm; £26.00
ALL SKIN TYPES, ESPECIALLY DRY, SENSITIVE, ACNE PRONE & ROSACEA TYPES
This is seriously one of my favorites! I think this could also work for any skin type as well. It’s a bit more on the expensive side of things, but it works incredibly well and is worth the price to me. If you have oily or combination to oily skin, you’ll want to use this with the muslin cloth to get more exfoliation and cleansing action, but if you’re more on the dry or sensitive side of things, you can simply massage this into your skin and rinse with warm water then pat dry. Check out my full review here.

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser; 24.50
ALL SKIN TYPES EXCEPT DRY & HYPER-SENSITIVE TYPES.
ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR ACNE PRONE & OILY SKIN TYPES!
Another new favorite, this one is great for all skin types, though I don’t recommend it to anyone who has a sensitivity to essential oils or to someone with dry skin. This is really cleansing and creamy, but it’s not super nourishing so if you need that extra moisture, it’s better to go with the Suti CLEANSE, the AB Cleansing Oil or LN Vitalising Cleanser (see below). This one works especially well for those with combination to oily or oily skin and is really effective for those with clogged pores or acne. This gentle cleanse + exfoliate combo is great for clearing the skin. Check out my full review on this here.

Living Nature Vitalising Cleanser; $35
ALL SKIN TYPES, EXCEPT SUPER OILY TYPES.
ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR DRY, SENSITIVE SKIN TYPES!
This is a really nourishing cleanser! It’s super gentle so it would be great for those with dry skin, sensitive skin or combination skin in the winter. I also find it’s nice to use when my combo to oily skin is looking particularly red or irritated because it helps to calm things down a lot. The scent in this is super subtle and there’s no sulfate or foaming; it actually just feels like a light, easily absorbed lotion only you rinse after. It leaves the skin feeling really soft and hydrated. See my full review here.

Antonia Burrell Natural Glow Cleansing Oil; $102
ALL SKIN TYPES
If you’ve been following for awhile, you may know about my love for cleansing oils. If not, well, I love them! They are great for all skin types most of the time and they work so well at balancing the skin out, whether your problem is dryness, oiliness, clogged pores or redness. I love cleansing oils for when my skin is just completely out of whack and off balance. It’s a great way to balance everything out and calm any irritations. Plus, cleansing oils, a lot of the time, are easily absorbed into the skin and help to cleanse the skin without stripping anything from it. Also, they work well as an all-in-one type makeup remover and cleanser. Just be sure to do it 2x! See my full review for this cleansing oil here.

NARUKO AMPM Wakeup Skin Smoothing Washing Powder; $14
OILY TO COMBINATION SKIN, ESPECIALLY THOSE WITH ACNE PRONE SKIN
NOT FOR DRY OR SENSITIVE TYPES
I love to use washing powders during hot, humid months when my skin is super oily and has a tendency to get congested. This is a great way to gently exfoliate the skin without being harsh while getting a good cleanse in. Plus, this one is only mildly foaming so it’s not as harsh as the OTC drugstore acne cleansers that can do more harm than good with their crap ingredients. This one includes rice powder and other ingredients to gently cleanse, smooth, and brighten the skin. See my full review on this here.

ALL SKIN TYPES
ESPECIALLY GOOD FOR SENSITIVE SKIN
GREAT FOR MAKEUP REMOVAL
This is an old favorite! It’s really great for any skin type, but it works especially well for those with sensitive skin or if you like to use a separate cleanser for makeup removal, this is a nice one. It smells really super fresh (actually true lol) – just like cucumbers. It’s very mild and more milky than foamy so it’s non-stripping to the skin. This is a really nice gel type textured cleanser and is great if you’re someone who doesn’t want to strip the skin of it’s natural oils, but also hates the oily feel of cleansing oils or balms. This one is a nice middle ground that will leave your skin cleansed, but not tight or dry. See my full review on this here.
