13 Halloween Makeup Looks to Try in 2014!

I don’t know if you’ve been following along, but I’ve been doing a TON of makeup looks for Halloween to get you all inspired and ready to rock some fun makeup looks with your costumes this year 🙂 Since I love Halloween a LOT, I decided to share these in a roundup, just in case you missed some of them and I’ve included looks I did last year and older Halloween makeup posts as well. If you want to see more makeup looks for me, including Halloween makeup looks, follow me on Instagram @StorybookBeauty because I’ll be posting a few more looks exclusively on that channel.

Gothic Pop Art Makeup

This pop art makeup look was fun to do, but very tedious with all the little dots! That said, the effect is really cool and you don’t need any crazy amount of skill to get this look!

Kitty Cat Makeup

If you want a halloween makeup look that’s easy to pull off and looks cute and glam, try kitty cat makeup! It’s easy to customize based on what you already have so it’s perfect for those who really don’t want to dress up or need a last minute costume!

Pink Sugar Skull Makeup

This sugar skull makeup is so cool and you can really have fun with it because sugar skull makeup looks always vary in design, kind of like henna. I used pink for this one, but you can use whatever colors you have on hand. I’ve done it with tons of colors like purple and teal to great effect as well. The best part about this kind of makeup is you can pair it with any kind of costume you want. I wore a stripe top and midi skirt, but you could wear a black dress or whatever you have.

Minnie Mouse Makeup

Pair this super easy Minnie Mouse makeup with your favorite Disney tee! You can also glam it up a bit and wear it with your favorite white top and red skirt, if you have one. Add heels and the effect is really cute and fun.

Red Sugar Skull Makeup

This sugar skull makeup look deviates a little from traditional sugar skull makeup and I think that makes it a little creepier, but still a lot of fun. I just like experimenting with it!

Harley Quinn Makeup

Harley Quinn is a favorite of mine. I love dressing up as her and doing my makeup. There are so many variants of the character out there now that you can make it as classic or edgy as you like. This particular rendition of Harley Quinn includes creepy clown makeup and my costume was made with a tank top I already own and some disco pants I already owned. All I did was paint them red and black so the effect looked like I’d painted them in blood. Creepy!

Black Skeleton Makeup

This last look is inspired by the “She’s waited too long…” makeup look. It was really hard to do. I started over many times, but if you want to try it, I definitely think you should! Pair it with your favorite pair of ripped jeans and rip up a white tee for a punk look otherwise a nice top and skirt or lace gown will also work well.
